    Me and my sister have been sharing xbox live through the family setting. And it worked out for awhile but then it started with my sisters profile saying the profile wasnt allowed to play xbox live with a pop up telling her to purchase xbox live and then
    it happened with my account telling me purchase xbox live but the main account still has xbox live.

    To many accounts have been made on that Xbox.

    You can only make 3 accounts on the same Xbox which reward you with 1 Month free membership, if you make a 4th account this will not have gold ect.. ect.. with 5 profiles, 6, 7

    Is the main account set as the consoles home xbox.

    Check other multiplayer games you have. Make sure you can play those.

    Next, make sure your new Gold Subscription is active.

    If the previous suggestions fail, check your e-mail used for XBL to make sure you have not been blocked from playing games.
