Im trying to subscribe to xbox live, even just the "1 Month Trial" thats on offer for £0.00

I then get "Please try a different payment option

This payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be. Remove it from those accounts and try again, or add a different payment option."

I have removed the card from any other accounts, but still get the error. I then tried adding a card I have never used before, it only came in the post about a month ago. This has never been used on any Xbox account.

After sitting on the live chat for over half an hour, I was told "use Paypal" and asked "Have I raised it with my bank"

Its nothing to do with my bank, its your system.

Please do whatever you need to do, so that I can subscribe to YOUR service with a card. It can't be that hard to fix, the account is with you, its on your system.

I don't have the time to sit on the live chat any longer especially when I'm told to ask my bank. They won't have a clue what your system is doing, I'm baffled as to why this is a suggestion.

I'm very sorry to hear that you're having this issue. Unfortunately this is not something that we can help with on the forums as it seems to be specifically a billing issue. What you should do is call phone support and ask to speak with Billing. Perhaps
they can help where online chat cannot.

It may be a billing issue on your account. All billing inquiries should be made directly to phone support though as only they can help with that.
