    After dealing with two customer support employees who just kept telling me to unplug and replug everything in my house. I find out I need an update that can only be done using a USB drive? Even though the internet connection is working. Is this because I
    have an xbox1 and not an xbox1S? Lashing out at customers who didn't buy the new console?

    Nba 2k15 update "there was something wrong with the update"

    NBA 2k15 disc copy, put it in, and it needs an update. Almost immediately, the update screen says there was something wrong with the update. My internet connection is fine, I tested it almost a dozen times. Please reply if you are having this problem.
    Xbox support is trying to get 2k on it so that the update works. If you have any troubleshooting tips or info, let me know. I've tried everything, including the offline usb drive method, still no go.

    I'm having this same error, and... Honestly I don't see a solution to the problem. Is the problem having to do with the DVD drive? My DVD drive works fine, but I still cant update via internet, or USB.

    I got to the offline update page and as expected i could select the usb offline option. I then plugged my usb in and nothing happen. I tried every usb port. I checked my drive on my computer and it was fine?

    If you're gonna go the offline update route you need to have these-

    To use the Offline System Update, you'll need:

    • A Windows-based PC with an Internet connection and a USB port.
    • A USB flash drive with a minimum 4 GB of space formatted as NTFS.

    OK, so after chatting with support like 5 different times, they decided to let me know that the 'offline update tool' might work... pretty tedious, but once I downloaded and unzipped the OSUDT2 to an NTFS-formatted USB drive (empty except for the update
    folder), and ran through the hard update sequence on the console with the USB drive plugged in... IT WORKS AGAIN. I have no idea why the same update bricked my remote when doing it automatically through the console while working when doing it offline, but,
    it worked for me.

    Hopefully it will work for y'all, too. My current software is 10.0.10586.1026

    Stuck On Green Screen After Update

    Doing a USB Restore Factory Defaults will fix this issue. It's a bit of work and you need a usb flash drive but it's the only why to fix it with out sending in your xbox. It will also leave you with a working build that you were supposed to get
