THIS NEEDS FIXED!

Frankly, I do not care about Microsoft's DRM policies or the Xbox One system architecture. Xbox One needs to meet the standard set by Xbox 360.

It is disgusting, that as I type this, I cannot launch over half of my library of games due to lack of internet connection. Games like Halo: Reach, Assassin's Creed Unity, Resident Evil, and State of Decay. Games that have a vast wealth of single-player
content are locked away from me because Xbox Live is having "issues" for "some reason".

Meanwhile, I have my Xbox 360 standing by with a library of over 19 digital titles, hasn't been connected to the internet in 14 months, and works perfectly! This is a nightmare! I have literally hundreds of dollars in content I can not access right now.
While everything works fine seemingly 95% of the time, today I have been painfully reminded why I consider selling my Xbox One on a nearly monthly basis. Why does my 10 year-old X360 work better, and more often than my Xbox One?

I don't want a reason. I don't want an argument. I want this fixed!

Sorry to hear about the issue! Have you followed any of the steps listed on this page
HERE? Run through each step that's listed and let us know if it helps. Sometimes something as simple as reinstalling
the game will fix an issue like this.

I have not been able to get my free tickets or coins for weeks know. When are you going to fix it.

 

Set the console to offline and enjoy single player, works for me

Within the "Please try again" menu I get whenever this happens, give is the option to "Go Offline" right there so people like me don't fall into a rage. In the future, just let these games be automatically playable when offline in any capacity. THIS STILL
NEEDS FIXED! Alot of people like me (5 minutes ago) don't know about or forget that the "Go Offline" option it both available, and fixes the problem.

 

Assuming he is on his "home" console. I have two friends doing the "Set mine to home and I'll set yours to home" sharing feature; when X Box Live is down or they're having problems with their internet...they can't play.

All my games, disc and digital, work offline by using the "Go Offline" feature mentioned by Farscape247; you can find it in "settings".

I am feeling the same way. I just filed a complaint as well. Ever since the latest update I have either been unable to access Netflix ( that I pay for ) or You Tube. If I do by chance get it to load, it glitches every 5 seconds. Think they need to do a better
job testing before launching a complete launch and *** everyone up.

 

Nice. Lol. During one of the preview updates, awhile back, it would open the C.D. player upon putting in a Blu-ray.

When people say their Xboxs are slow I just thought they were talking about performance but now Im thinking something different. Lol!

 

Wow. The site says Xbox Live is fine but I cannot access any video streaming apps because I'm not signed in.... accept I AM signed in.

Microsoft got their way, for the most part. I have ONE system that provides about 95% of my home entertainment and if refuses to work correctly at least once a month. That's unacceptable. When will we be out of this beta? I thought the last two years was
my early-adopter karma coming back to bite me for buying XONE year-one.

I have now come to accept that this is the normal state of the Xbox One. It's such a sadness when I consider that my Xbox 360 was that ONE system that provided all the entertainment before Xbox One, and today, it takes up that responsibility again. I LOVE
Xbox 360!

Microsoft needs to test their UI better. It is ridiculous that this happens. Hope everyone else is enjoying their day.

I just want to say that I am ashamed as well. I insisted the Xbox One was the system to have with it's backwards comp. exclusives like State of Decay, Halo, and Gears etc. It wasn't all me, but I did end up backing a couple friends into a corner where they
chose to sell their PS4s for XONES and now they look at me when XONE doesn't work.

 

OMG! It was better last night. All night last night! Now we're back to going offline to play games and ZERO streaming support. Uge.
