    As someone who actually checks his activity feed, I'm grateful they don't have pop-up notifications for followers - it would drive me crazy!

    ...although making it optional might've been nice. This Makes Perfect Sense! :P :p

    It's surprisingly simplistic and almost has a "barren" appearance with how much everything is spaced out. Also, in case you haven't seen it already, it can be found at the top of this page under your account in the "Home" section. If you prefer the old look,
    they were kind enough to also include a link back to that. This Makes Perfect Sense! :P :)

    Seriously, some people are ridiculous. Everyone wants the console to have all of these features yet they want them without actually having to do anything to use them. Everything has to be a pop-up our only one or two button presses away. Well I'm sorry,
    the UI that you people seem to want would be an absolute clusterfkk. You think the UI is cumbersome now? Just wait until every one of its features is close to the surface. It'll be nuts. And when engine starts complaining about what'll be an overcrowded mess
    of a top menu, I'll be around to remind them that this is what they asked for.

    Seems there should be an option for the activity feed, notifications, achievements, and pm's to just go to smart glass for those that have it. No on screen distractions at all... Just a thought.

    True, but that's pretty useless to those who have no interest in the Activity Feed imo.
    :) ...and again, you actually have to go check that. There isn't a "pop up" notification, which people have gotten use to on the 360 for a friend request... imo again.
