Activity Feed and Suggested Friends Feature Now Available at Xbox.com

So they added the Activity Feed to Xbox.com. At least they didn't add what games we are playing on our Ones. Yay Microsoft!

The "followers" part puzzled me, i have had people following me for months and i have no idea who they are.

I never play online, don`t have an xbox one, so why are they following me??

@ THEOWENKILLER, I get more "followers" from these forums than from the games I play. Maybe they see you here? Who knows...

 

I don`t have any friends on my profile.

I don`t see the point in having any when i never play online.

I used to add anyone that requested it, but all the notifications popping up every two minutes really annoyed me, so i deleted them all.

All the followers i have i have never heard of.

Also not sure why i have the suggested friends either,

Everyone of them is playing an xbox one on games i don`t own, what would be the point in me being their friend?

@goth, but how have they been following me without me knowing about it?

 

@ THEOWENKILLER, On the One anyone can add you as a friend. You WILL NOT get a notification saying they did so. (Like the title of this thread, it makes perfect sense... not. lol) If
you actually check your followers you can either friend them, or block them. Pretty much you have no clue they are even there unless you check that every now and then. I personally think they should have never created "followers" and just kept it the way it
was on the 360. (friends) That's just me I guess.

 

None of these people are on my friends list and never have been, i wouldn`t even have known they were there unless i clicked on my own profile.

I really don`t understand what someone gets from having a "friend" on their list that never plays or even talks to them, and in my case doesn`t even know they exist.

True, but that's pretty useless to those who have no interest in the Activity Feed imo.
...and again, you actually have to go check that. There isn't a "pop up" notification, which people have gotten use to on the 360 for a friend request... imo again.


@ Vaynel, there is NO excuse imo.

 

For the record, I actually completely you agree with you about the whole friends/followers thing. I just thought I'd mention that the little activity notification you can see from the dashboard is better than nothing, still a pain to actually check the notification
or messages.

 

Ok... let me clarify... baby steps (soaked in sarcasm...)......
