This loyal M$ fan feels jilted by today's news.

You are on the official Xbox forums. Many people are going to be offended by someone that comes here with the sole purpose of stirring "poop". It's no different than going to a football game and telling people how much the home
team sucks. When you are face to face insulting someones team like that it usually only happens once. Luckily the internet keeps things a little more civilized. On the net it's just annoying.

As for the statement about Microsoft not caring since they already got our money, that would be a little closer to accurate if they didn't need the people whos money they got to buy more games and services to make up for the money
typically lost on hardware. They have much more incentive to meet customers expectations once they sell them a console since the revenue stream software sales brings is crucial to the console business model.

Fable Anniversary lag/stuttering/frame rate/speed problem

It is so bad I could not play the game. I am so very upset by this because I am a huge Fable fan and had even borrowed the money to pre-order the game. Shame on you M$ for not properly Beta testing the game before releasing it. Doing this to such a loyal
fan base is just wrong.

Don't understand how or why people could be upset by today's news. Go figure...

 

I feel as though Microsoft should give us early adopters a freebie. Not one to gripe as I've enjoyed my Xbox One and talk about it to ALOT of people, who are going out to buy them as well. Hell I don't even use a remote when watching anything on my xbox
as the Kinect sensor has gotten way better. But the fact that 3 months later you are launching an xbox one with the GREATEST game of 2014 kinda stings big time. Hopefully someone as microsoft reads this forum and looks out for us!

My problem is this bundle arriving 3 1/2 months after release. Wouldn't be bothered if it were at least 6 months.

I bought the Day One Edition, an extra controller with the charger and 10 Xbox One games. What do I get? Nothing because I don't expect anything. I love my Xbox One and games and that's all that matters.

 

This "bundle" is the same price as a regular X1, the only difference is the TF game code.

It's marketing. The biggest game release of the year, now tie it to a X1, same price, $499.00 (in Canada)...... and you have console sales!!!

People wet there pants when they see Titanfall on the outside of the X1 box....... yes it is a $60 value, what are the chances of getting one when TF is released. I would say slim to none.

 

I guess my only complaint is there is still no external hard drive support. I knew this when buying the Xbox One though. I just un-install games I am not currently playing to get some space for new games.

 

You know I think all this crying about the free game is meritless in comparison to what's taking place behind closed doors.

With Elop at the Helm of Xbox this is the beginning of the true end. It won't be long the xbox will no longer have Microsoft's firm money backing and without all those big dollars bye bye exclusives and things that make the One still a contender in this
race.

This loyal console fan is just broken hearted at this news. Without competition Sony won't even have to offer value =(.

 

me I've played the hell out of need for speed rivals the last three months. now I'm getting titanfall and some other games later. I've enjoyed my X1 (except for the two weeks it spent being repaired by ms for a faulty disc drive) and plan to enjoy it for
sometime to come.

as for those of you who are whining about not getting freebies.... would you like some cheese with that?

 

£399 with a copy of titanfall it has stated in the national newspaper today in the uk, and i will still put it down to the xbox one not shifting here because we haven't got what was advertised to the American market

 

The self entitlement is strong on this forum. Over here it's just £30 less than the day one price, which also included a free game that was likely more expensive (Fifa14) than Titanfall.

Price cuts are inevitable with technology. Especially in a highly competitive market.

You guys going to scream and cry in a tantrum that you're going to sell your Xbox Ones unless you get a free copy of Titanfall next? I'm just waiting for that thread to happen so I can get a good old laugh at such idiocy.
