    This Is weird but I need you help


    I know this is crazy but I recently purchased a 50ft ethernet cable for my xbox series x. I never had any overheating problems before and i have had my series x console for over 2 months. Never had this issue It would just keep shutting off constantly and getting messages your console is overheating. It is very well ventalated.

    To make a long story short I sent my series x in for repair ,and I am using my one x. I put the ethernet cable in that and guess what, I got a ovrerheating message on that as well. What is the issue here? And yes I have tried all the resets. Unplug and stuff like that.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    Are you trying to buy the edition of the game that includes all DLC? If so that is called Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition.

    If not, which version of Destiny do you currently own?

    How is your console connected to your network? Also, you would need a working hard drive for the update to download correctly. You can try installing the update via USB or CD, and instructions for that are here:
