    When i sign into my Xbox account It has my old name not the one i changed it to i have kept trying to find out why but there is nothing?

    My account name is wrong!!

    I log into xbox live here and it says my account name is .....which is wrong. My account name is xkahlan. What the heck happened here.

    90% chance you're using the wrong e-mail, 10% chance your account is totally broken. On the console go to Settings -> Account -> Account Security and verify you're using the right account. Look really close because it's easy to make typos. if it's correct
    then contact support, your account is broken.

    Sign in name wrong

    If you go to https://account.live.com then sign in, click on Overview, then Edit Name, and the first name entered will be what is reflected when it welcomes you during sign in. Hope this helps!

    It looks like it's pulling that information from the general info area of your Microsoft Account, rather than the old Xbox 360 profile. Here's what I did to fix it:

    1.) Go to http://account.live.com/, sign in, and edit the name here. Make sure it saves.

    2.) Remove the account from the Xbox One, then re-add it. NOTE: I'm not sure if this is strictly necessary, but I wanted to make sure it got updated.
