This is the way to keep me.

Not to long ago I received an email asking me what you could do to keep me and encourage me to by an xbox one. Banning me from leaving lobbies before games start, is not it. I have been playing live for 10 years and never been banned for any reason. I have
put up with cheaters, mod freaks and just some plain stupid behavior but, this is just one more reason why I will eventually be leaving this community. You would think that the 25,000 product roll out in Japan, the lackluster sales in the rest of the world,
and violent opposition to some of your tactics would be enough, alas no. You have to find a way to further aggravate and distance your loyal customers with stupid ban thresholds.

It really is a challenge to be polite to you people. I have watched a disconnected, tone-deaf M$ ignore the wishes of it's customers in virtually every medium that you play, and it is painfully clear that, with the exception of some customer focused individuals
in your company, your culture is completely void of empathy for our needs. Does anyone pay any attention to global sales numbers? Pissing off your loyal base is going to serve you very poorly. I will continue to play the games I have already purchased until
the 360 is deprecated into a memory: Although, I might give the PS4 even greater consideration.

Sounds to me like a game specific ban,which is nothing to do with Microsoft.

You have either been banned already or are hiding so no one can see your true identity.

 

Well if you break any rules you risk the possibility of getting banned or suspended, so don't break the rules and you'll be fine. Every console has rules you have to follow. Someone said it is probably a game ban rather than Microsoft doing it. If you can
play other games fine, it's the developer of said game you got banned or suspended from. You obviously broke one of their rules, so just deal with it.

And to the person complaining about rep, rep hasn't mattered in forever. Seriously, there's no point in doing it and people rarely bother with it because if I recall I rarely meet the same people again.

 

they have made the rep a tool for matchmaking, an that is wrong, once people start realizing how much they can now JAM someone up for nothing, there will be no end to it, bad reps are one thing, CHEATING,HACKING,NAME-CALLING, GLITCHING,TEAM KILLING, are
another, sadly these people will continue to play while someone who may or may not use a mic, or has lesser skill than you OR more skill will be "avoided" an unfairly be taken off the MP mainstream.

Yes, to make Microsoft keep me I vote that I should be able to to break the rules of their service.

Another thing could be sending me money every month to cover all my gaming expenses.

As Daft mentioned, certain games like Halo & Call of Duty will send out short suspensions to players who quit early. If you have an issue with say, Halo 4, you'll need to get in touch with 343 Studios.

 

As Eggnogga said, the idea of the short suspension was to prevent people from keeping quitting games when they were being beaten. As constant quitters kept spoiling it for everyone else.

This was put in place by the game developers and not Microsoft.

Well as none of you have been capable of getting the point, I left "LOBBIES" before the game started, either because of poor connections, lag issues or just plain obnoxious players. There seems to be no end to people cheating, team killing, or otherwise
tampering. And judging by how many new accounts seemingly have supernatural abilities to play, with minimal gamer scores and other indicators, banning accounts seem to have zero effect.

Just a point; your rep can be trashed by a bunch of vengeful 8 year old's that shouldn't even be playing adult oriented games or miscreant basement dwellers that have no other social contact than what occurs online. Quitters are a problem but, what about
the others that find themselves in a game where someone is modem bumping, playing the lag(in order to increase advantage), team killers or just generally ruing the fun? Should they just stay in the game for posterity, ignoring the fact that it is an unpleasant
experience or trashing there K/D ratios? Just like most commentators on these forums, you assume that they are not knowledgeable, sincere people expressing frustration with a degradation in a service that they are PAYING for.

Whether M$ controls the environment or not, they are fundamentally the arbiters and regulators of the experience: Which gets to my final point. Microsoft is more than willing to take the money for whatever product they sell but, when it comes to customer
satisfaction or service they tend to fall very short.

So, whatever high horses you all have ridden in on, you can turn them around and head for the barn. Your obvious knee-jerk reaction to anything that questions the formulation, implementation or mitigation tactics of M$ belies your position. Yes, developers
create the interactions and rules for their individual games but, M$ controls the guidelines and repercussions for not implementing an adequate solution. At the end of the day, M$ is ultimately responsible for bad actors, bad gamers and bad experiences.

 

Also this is NOTHING about breaking the rules, its more about popularity, How good or NOT good you are, wearing a mic, not wearing or using a mic, being a team player, not being a team player, all reasons why people choose to avoid, an now Microsoft has
turned that into a reason for them to segregate these accused without proof an drop them off the MP mainstream, but they want you to prove that you are "worthy" of playing MP, How one is to do this IF they cant even join a match is puzzling.
