Strange thing I've come across, I guess I haven't attempted to download anything above ESRB ratings of T or so on gamepass PC so far but when attempting to download Frostpunk it gave me this message saying it was above my age rating? My Xbox live profile and Microsoft account both reflect my age, I'm well above the ESRB recommended age for any rating for better or worse

I can't seem to find where in the profile or edit profile section you'd change these restrictions

I went into my settings and "changed" my birthday i.e just filled out the info again, saved it, logged out and back in and it worked.

To confirm, are you trying to download it from a Windows 10 or Windows 11 machine?

Let’s check if you’re using an adult account or a child account by checking your account privacy settings via https://account.xbox.com/Settings. If you could access your privacy settings, that would mean that you’re using an adult account. But if you were redirected to a different page, you’re using a child account where you need to be added to a family group because only an organizer or adult account can change a child’s privacy settings.

I just gave that a try and it still did not fix the issue.
