This is getting ridiculous...

the fact that I am currently paying for a service that can't seem to get its ducks in a row is endlessly frustrating. I have been a gold subscriber for over 7 years and have owned a xbone for a full year now. This is next gen gaming? Seriously?! On
360 it happened from time to time random live disconnects and temporary outage altogether but it seems with my one for whatever reason there is no end of problems connecting. I am a dedicated gamer with a deep love for xbox and I have been since the original
but after all the problems I continue to have with this thing I'm starting to consider just going to Pc gaming. At least then 99 percent of my problems would be on my end. I have currently been waiting over 3 hours to play and all I get for updates are the
snarky little 2 sentence quips from the "support team" and a promise for more non information in another 30 mins. Seriously xbox get your stuff together I didn't spend all this money on the system, service, games, and accessories to sit back and admire how
it looks under my TV set...

Could I suggest,

if you would like to communicate with MS and feel that nothing is working at 100% if you have a twitter account you can tweet to @XboxSupport, they will respond most times.. im currently tweeting them about a problem I am having.

Hopefully everything will be sorted out with the xbox live core service and we have no problems for a while

I've been trying to get into Microsoft Bingo for the past 5 hours. Seems others are having the same problem. If there is an update going on, how much longer will it take?

 

XBL has always seemed extremely reliable to me, in fact, it's been just as reliable on the Xbox One as it was on the Xbox 360. *shrugs*

 

Have you used it much this year? Cause I haven't.... been able to.

 

The fact that I am still waiting to sign in after 4 hours now Is frustratingly unreliable. As it is on a daily basis I cannot view friends lists or invite people to party or game and this isn't the fist time it's done something this time consuming lay severe
even this month. I guess I just expect a higher level of reliability to come with the higher price tag of the next gen system. Or for them to at least have the bugs worked out after over a year since it's launch date.

 

I've used it a lot this year.

 

I'm on it everyday...... last time it was down was around Christmas.... for a short time.

 

Only issue I've had since Christmas, was the friends list going away for a short time, signed right for me an hour ago.

 

While XBL on the XB1 has had its fair share of issues, this is not that bad. While it seemingly goes down once every month or so, it's usually only for a few hours. If you can't stand not using your console for a few hours (or even 24 hours), then the problem
doesn't lie with the console...

 

It's not easy running Xbox Live servers for Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. Add to that, the lizard people who are targeting big companies with denial of service attacks. So target the blame on them, not Microsoft, not our ISPs (until they're behind bars). M is on
to it though and servers are located AROUND the world. I cant stand going more than 24 hours without being on my console. Social media and our free time is meant to be enjoyed. We can't do that when some silly people on the other side of the world aka lizard
are ruining it for Microsoft other big companies and us. But then again it can be an issue on M's part. Internet is like a drug or really essential especially for us younger generations. It's as important as water, food, electricity, telecommunications, and
TV. Because of it, we don't have to go visit the central library in our city or ring up someone for public transport info, takeaways, or make toll calls to friends in other countries when you have Skype and XBL voice chat and video calling is free for XBL
members and it can be done in the comfort of your own home. It's 2015, not 1912.

 

Been on it every night with no issues , only exception being the Xmas DDOS attack. SSB try telling somone in a third world country the internet is as important as water or food.

 

Yep there are live issues, im not ignoring that. It seems that Microsoft is trying to bring all devices together under one OS,including Xbox. I willing to bet all live issues go hand in hand with

1. Running Xboxone on a temporary OS and Backend setup

2. Trying to move all the services into one integrated one.

If it doesnt start to get better as this year goes on then we have a problem.At the moment most of the bad experiences we all go through in my opinion is only a slight inconvenience.

 

Just be glad they scrapped the always online nonsense or you wouldnt even be able to play a game.

A bit annoying not being able to get on last night. No biggie tho just went and played ps4. Much less outages over there and they compensate when you have been inconcenienced!
