This is getting ridiculous with the amount of remastered games

Out with the old, in with new..... if someone will rebuy an old console game... $$$$

 

They need to remake all of the xbox 360 games for the xbox one. like NOW.

Does anyone remember the backward compatibility between Xbox and 360??? Horrible....

 

Halo and Halo 2 worked. The issue I kept running into was that some of my games, Battlefield 2 Modern Combat and Burnout Revenge specifically, had remasters so the physical versions I had from the Xbox couldn't be used.

 

I do, BC on Xbox 360 wasn't that great, out of 1,000 Xbox games, only 476 of them are playable on Xbox 360. Some of them play just fine, others suffer from more framerate drops, some occasional graphical problems, a few minor bugs & glitches.

a few minors glitches, most of them don't play too good on Xbox 360, so I would keep your Original Xbox console if I were you Lei Fang.

This industry is the very prime example of greed. no company takes any chances anymore. Just the same familiar formula and why make a new game out right when you can just repaint an old one. I agree OP its crap, I dont mind remasters here and there and when
they actually merit a remaster but it is getting really out of hand.

 

Yes, I remember BC between Xbox, and the 360. It was stopped soon after Sony stopped. But Sony never actually stopped they only said they would, and in so doing put the brakes on devs like EA while Microsoft bowed low to em.

Bleem was the 1st to do BC via the Dreamcast, and evn PS 1 games looked far better on the Dreamcast than they did on the PS1.

Point is. It isn't console manufactures who dont want BC, but rather game developers. And this generation both Sony and Microsoft are bowing to their wishes.

Sreaming old games isn:t the answer to BC for its a Pay per use service. (Comprimise between console manufactures and game developers) With gamers playing the role of Chump in the middle.
