This is getting ridiculous with the amount of remastered games

Luckily Spenser announced that they were looking into Backwards Compatibility, despite what Matrick said. So it sounds like it is certainly feasible. I'm hoping for some sort of progress update at E3. Unfortunately, if it does turn out to be viable, then
games that either have a port on the One or have already been remastered will not be playable via BC on the One because it defeats the purpose of their existence.

For instance: You couldn't play Burnout Revenge on the 360. If you wanted to play it, you had to buy it from the market place.

These Spam messages/account are getting ridiculous now

The amount that I'm getting is getting ridiculous. They really need to start monitoring this. It's easy to tell when someone is sending out the same message to mass amounts of people, but MS doesn't seem to care

Xbox Live having issues has been frustrating. Generally when there is an Xbox Live service alert. I am hardly effected. Even on Christmas day I was able to get online. However, I just do not remember this being the case in 2006, 2007. Xbox Live was
hardly ever down. I wonder what the issues are? Perhaps it is MS unifying everything. I look forward to the new party chat update. A year in, and the inconsistencies are annoying. Just my opinion.

 

BC is doable. Even running current P4 and X1 games on the same system now considered ancient hardware is doable. But if I remember, Spencer looking into BC was around a year ago, so I wouldnt hold my breath on P4 nor X1 actually putting ANY effort, other
than sound bits. Into allowing BC.

 

E3 2015 dude. Perfect place to say "Yo, BC is coming"

 

Be nicer to instead here. 'Yo, Full BC all the way bac to the Original Xbox for campaign gaming is now here.' - They can even leave the 360 online MP part of the games out if they like.

 

If that were the case I'd love to actually buy a copy of Beyond Good and Evil if they exist. I played the 360 version and it was a lot of fun.

As awesome as having Backwards Compatibility all to the way back to the Original Xbox to the Xbox 360, here are the following problems that I see with the idea...

(1) It is going to be expensive for Microsoft

(2) It will be too time consuming for Microsft

(3) It will probably be a bug / glitch fest

There is also the Cloud, which I believe might be the smartest route instead having to add hardware.

 

Fang: Once you put your mind into doing something, their is physically nothing that cannot be acomplished.

On the other hand, if you dwell on the expense and the effort it takes to acomplish anything.

Then nothing will ever get done.

Men once thought going to moon was a vain effort. Yet one man challanged that notion and because of it. We have global communications etc. Was it expensive? Yes. But look at what revenue it brought about.

My point in all this, and what I have been saying is...

It's really not much different from GOTYE, not the stupid band but Game of the year editions. Only difference is that they aren't remastered, they both have the DLC. I'd rather have a better looking gotye on a game I hadn't played.

Believe me when I tell you that there is no louder Cheer Leader than me when it comes to wishing that the Xbox One has Backwards Compatibility.

I really wish that I am wrong about Backwards Compatilbity not happening on the Xbox One, but realitiscally speaking it probably won't happend.

I agree, It won't happen. And because of that policy. Lets be clear, the powers that be don't wont it to happen. Therefore a... Umm... sizable number of console sales for both systems in the UK, Europe, and elsewhere wont be happening either.

Regardless: I wish both current gen manufactures the best of luck at this years E3.

No, remastering games = more money for developers, while the systems thereselves suffers losses that they would otherwise would have not had.

So to me, and speaking only of my thoughts on this subject. Its outside sources which to an extent controls inside business decisions.

I remember well EA and Microsoft going at it over servers and who controlled what. But then.. Nothing! Seems Developers won eh.
