Region locked games

Another reason why I also bought a PS3 and another good move by Microsoft by removing region locked games from the Xbox ONE.

 

Yep nothing but great things are coming around for the XB1 plus we are getting are free games. now just setting back getting ready for E3 in June

 

I think what you wrote is fine, they did not reveal the console well, they did not explain it's features and they did not give their gamers a choice, spot on.

 

Two products and services that now looks and feels the same.I don't see where is the good move.

Now,only Nintendo and Playstation feels different.

 

^ I think that was Microsoft's biggest problem before launch, when they told us about anything, it always left more questions than it answered, never a good thing.

Like I've said in other threads, sure I'm a little disappointed by the news, thought they would have given it at least a bit more time but like eviltedi says, choice is what people want, so fair play in that respect.

And who knows, maybe there will be some top Kinect games still to come, maybe even convince a few of the doubters ( don't mean that to sound like an insult lol )

All I hope for now is these and other forums to get back to how they should be, people talking about the games, not talking about resolutions/FPS and whether Kinect should or shouldn't be there, fingers crossed ehh lol

 

LOL thats a big slap in the face to all the defenders of xbone. How many of you said it will NEVER be sold without Kinect? inferior system is desperately trying to stay afloat - that is what it is. bye Kinect - you never were an inseparable part of Xbone,
just a gimmick really

 

It's a good move for Microsoft because as you stated "Microsoft have been losing ground to Sony", but it's a bad thing for the Kinect because developers are less likely to use their resources for it
as not everyone who owns a Xbox One will have a Kinect. I know, Microsoft need to persuade developers to create a killer app/game, but that won't happen unless the Kinect sells well.

 

Did you read my Article BHC?, if you read the part about the playstation eye, then you will see its selling well even though its not integral part of the console, but because of what Sony are doing with it people are buying it. this will be the same with
Kinect

just because its optional does not mean it will be a failure and less people will buy it.

the option and what Microsoft do with it in the next few years will drive people to if they want to buy it or not.

heck just because someone had the kinect does not mean they use it.

we have a kinect and never touched it. atleast with the option you know how many people use the kinect and how many just throw it to one side. that gives developers an idea of how many people like it or use it. not having a compulsory one in a box

The apologists who parroted talking points and PR get the shove.

All in a desprate attempt to get some Front loaded 1 month bump that won't have legs.

 

I feel that the console was rushed to the market to compete with Sony. It was incomplete and put out for us to test and make better which is ok. I would of rather waited and have a complete system with all of the bugs worked out. I'm still happy though.
No regrets.

 

It's pretty hilarious considering the abuse the regulars use to throw at anyone asking for the option.

Of course it was a good move xbox one sales fell off a cliff after the initial 3.9m.

I read your article, but nowhere does it say how much the PS eye has sold. Yes, the PS Eye is and has been sold out in a lot of stores, but we don't know how many units these stores received.

 

$399 is cheap! Even for next gen.
