This interface is SO horrible

I'm in the preview, instant on mode. My console is definitely slower than a lot on here but nowhere near as slow as LK's console. I rarely did a hard reset last year, since xmas though it's every other day. I don't get lock ups or freezing, the console is
just slow at opening apps.

This is horrible.

I tried to add a password to my account when I login on my xbox, but when I press sign in it asks me for my email and my password. When it eventually loads it says, "Sorry, this profile can't sign in right now. Try again later." then it says a few spaces
down, "80151103." Whats up with that? I've tried everything including changing my password. But what is really weird is that I can sign in on www.xbox.com.

This happened after I updated.

I looked at other posts but they all said downloading the account, I'm just trying to login. Can someone give me some help?

 

GG, what I would like is for MS to put together an elegant, fast and responsive UI that allows Gamers to actually play Games without having to fight this current garbage UI every step of the way.

Look at the Replies and what even those who say "it's fine" still have to Hard Reset in the 10-30 times over the past year and change. At best from their Stats of actual performance drops of the UI even though "it's fine" would
be a Hard Reset about once every 40 days. And that is at best. Their Stats at worst would be a Hard Reset to poor performance about at least once every 10 days.

That is not what I would call "fine". Using their Stats I would describe it as very poor performing. Everyone should be calling Support right now by their own advice. There is something wrong with everyone's Console.

You mean like every time it was turned Off?!

There was no Hard Reset for the 360. It had a Cache Pool for Game Updates that dumped past over-flow.

 

Gaming and the associated consoles seem to be to stressful for some people. Maybe another hobby is in order? I hear needlepoint or crocheting is relaxing. ;-) Seriously though, the X1 has given me WAY less problems compared to the 360. I swore if it froze
one more time playing Fable Anniversary, I was taking it out back to shoot it. Lol.

Not sure how the UI is such a big hurdle to play games? If I'm continuing a game I was last playing I select the bottom right box on the home screen or the main box and press A...

If I am going to play one of my other games (which I have all pinned) I press left bumper, select the tile and press A... Am I missing something?

Yes the X1 UI is not perfect and at the end of the gen the 360 one was way better but it has improved a lot since launch and there is another major update coming with Win 10 so how about we all wait for that rather than going around in circles.

If you can't wait, sell up or take a break from gaming as its obviously not doing you any good since it seems to be stressing you out.

 

Where did you get 10-30 reboot times in a year? I think both of us who replied said 10 or less! My 360 totally froze more than ten times in 15 months I can tell you.

Okay so my boy is 1 year and a view month old and he can start games fine and move on the home screen.

He can only use the left stick and A and X since he did not learn the others yet.

When we use it the home screen is fast and so are the games.

I play fast and move fast with electronics.

Trust me I know what lag is and waiting means.

When i do scribbles on a computer the normal programs fail all the time.

I draw fast so I am 5 lines ahead of the cursors.

THAT is really annoying.

The X1 IS fast.

I made a video of how I play and I have lag but you see how well it evens it out.

On my screen I did not see ANY lag when I played.

So should be you Kauz when you use the dash.

I try routinely to get my X1 to its limits.

But you know the only thing that cant handle it yet is Upload but thats cause it is new.

However things improve all the time as more I use Xbox.

Do and change your settings to energy saving that seems to be better for you.

If you want you can also hold the On button on the console for 3 seconds to do the cache cleaning you know from the 360.

The same speed works for the home screen in my case.

@ LK Why did I selective read? seriously where'd you get 10 -30 reboots in a year per user who replied to your question from? To answer your last question, my reboots were from memory, black screen due to a CoD ghosts issue, a BF4 freeze, and a few
times I had controller issues. .

 

If its slow, then thats your fault for not having a high speed internet provider, not microsofts. Ya dingus
