    this game requires a connection to xbox live


    I have some problem, when wanting to enter some xbox application, it tells me that I need a connection to xbox live, however when I connect to xbox live I get everything positive without any error message, but after I did the connection test and
    everything and try to open the application in this case youtube or netflix I get this error, '' Unable to connect This game requires a connection to xbox live " with their respective ways of doing the connection test again and again and again I get the error
    and do a cycle that I do not believe and it ends. For your attention, thank you very much.

    I'm sorry to hear you're having issues.

    What game are you trying to play?

    Although you are playing solo, some games still require connection to xbox live. Other features on the xbox also require connection to xbox live.

    As long as it's the Xbox360 that it was purchased on.

    ...AND to the Xbox360 it was purchased on, as drskhaled mentioned above. Just to be clear.

    Two separate licences. Either case must apply before it'll work; on the console that purchased it - no connection to Xbox Live required; by the GamerTag that purchased it - connection to Xbox Live required.

    Xbox live gold membership is required for all games requiring multiplayer connectivity.

    Xbox live is only for if you need to use the online services with Xbox. Certain games that are Online only will require it.

    If you're installing a game that is on a disc, then you only need an internet connection. Bare in mind that if that game requires online play, you will require Xbox live. You will see a note on the disc box that it requires Xbox Live

    Account license - required to be connected to xbox live, is rather like a public license that is checked when loading a purchased game online. If you are not connected, they cant check.

    Console.licenses. The rather local license, it wont require xbox live, or being Connected to it to launch the purchased game, though a connection may apply if you cant get passed the game update screen.
