This game is sooooo broke

^^ They really did hurt the franchise. I will never touch another BF game again. I wouldn't even touch it with your controller. This was the first and last Dice and BF game I will ever play.

 

^ That's unfortunate. Thing is you have played, and will continue to play games using the DICE Frostbite engine. IMO you should give them another chance once it's confirmed fixed for all intents and purposes, if you're into strategic MP FPS games then
nothing comes close (on console) to the battlefield experience. Although to be fair, if it was my first time trying the game I'd be like $%#! no too.

 

At the end of the day, despite the shortcomings and flaws (of which there are many) BF is still an absolutely terrific online shooter which stands alone in the industry. No other game compares.

 

long time bf players are hardheads, this is broke, that don't work, boring hurry up and wait, HOLY CRAP THIS IS CRAZY, then boring broke crap again

 

Seems quite a bit better today w/ regard to MP. (for me)

 

The game does seem as though it's fixed, but I've lost all hope in EA/Dice. Personally, I won't be buying another Battlefield after this because EA will use the "Battlefield" name to sell the product, even though the game hasn't changed..... For example,
Call Of Duty.

 

Unfortunately I feel the same way. Next year (or probably this year) I won't be doing any pre ordering, midnight releases, jonesing for MP reveals or anything like that. I think a lot of us who have come up with both CoD and BF4 could safely say that the
best of both franchises is years behind us and that we've probably outgrown them.

Think about it. Neither franchise has changed much in the last few years. Hell BF is such a carbon copy that even the menu screens and music are copy/paste jobs. On the new platforms I think I'll definitely be a little more conservative with my purchases.

 

Yea BF4 is BF3 with a years worth of tweaks, additions and maps. Although, this is the first time they've rinsed and repeated so obviously. CoD has been doing it since Modern Warfare 1.

With regard the 'hardheads' observation, name any game in the past 5 years that HASN'T had multiplayer problems, time and time again people go absolutely mental, without ever catching on to the fact developers don't find these problems until the masses put
pressure on their games. This fickleness truly bemuses me.

 

Glad its working now. I about ready for BF again, the graphics looked great! Maybe Titanfall will be something "new", dunno.

 

They have patched the servers up, not had any problems within the last week. Im not sure if they've fixed the campaign save issue as i've finished it on hard already so need to play through it again...

As for titanfall fingers crossed they get better start than battlefield 4 has with server issues

 

Aussie servers are still meh, but it's always funny to see a queue of 32 people waiting to get into a single server.

 

Other than the queue problems, which at this point I'm not sure if it is an EA or MS problem, I haven't had much issues since the December 19th patch. Granted, there are still several things that need fixing, but nothing that is game breaking.

 

Disagree wholeheartedly, however these things have needed fixing since the creation of the Frostbite engine...

Yes it is soooooooo broke, But I'm a COD fan that's just started playing this. BF4 on the XB1 playing Conquest with a full server is like nothing I've played on a console before, Brilliant.
