This game is awful!!!

i can't believe they ruined battlefield! No javelin or stinger. This is just another call of duty. I suppose I have to sell this dreadful game and wait until 343 puts out a real game in Halo. I'm so disappointed.

I'd suggest calling them yourself and waiting on hold then. Might take a little while, but better than not being able to submit the form, eh?

 

There is a Stinger but unlike other BF games, the rocket type weapons are Battle pick up only. It is much faster paced but it works. It's unfortunate that you gave up after just 8 hours, only played Conquest and majority of your time is with the mechanic
class, worst in my opinion. Try some other game modes, they are quite entertaining.

 

every map with helicopters has a stinger or 2 on them! look at the map! they don't just give them to you. you have to go get it! the helicopters are week in the game in my opinion!

 

This game is far from being a Call of Duty clone. The vehicles and destructible environments still make this a way better shooter than all those CoD types. As for the explosives, you have to unlock them or find them on the map. Once you start ranking up
you can unlock the ability to have vehicles spawn with explosive types like Stingers or RPGs in the trunk of your car. Which is perfect since you can just drive around until you find a large vehicle or Heli and pop out and open the trunk and gear up. And as
the others have posted, the other way to get the heavier weapons is battle pickup and every map has multiple spawn points for this gear so there's that too.

Hardline isn't for everybody. Its alot different from previous Battlefields like BF3, BF4, or Bad Company. It opts for fast paced action over heavy hitting vehicles and weapons. Most of the vehicles are fast cars, police interceptors, SWAT vans, and small
helis. And game modes like Hotwire offer some great new Battlefield moments, just in a different way. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes Battlefield, just know that its a different kind of animal.

 

Correction, there are Stingers on most maps. You can also get them from the trunk of your coupe/sedan if you purchase the Anti-Air Vehicle Upgrade for 90k dollars.

Also, this game isn't a Call of Duty clone. This game is smaller than the previous Battlefields, even Bad Company, but IMO it's a new playstyle since the vehicular combat is between light vehicles. That means that vehicular battles are much faster-paced
and now any class has the potential to take out a vehicle rather than just the Engineer as in the past BF games. IMO this is my favorite playstyle but to each their own.

P.S. the Mechanic isn't that bad, in fact it's pretty OP because of Armored Insert and the K10 which is still insane

 

I hope you'd give the game more of a chance. Try around with other game modes, use different weapons and classes. I've loved battlefield since BC2, and sure this may have been Battlefield's worst game yet, but I still love the play style although the cops/robbers
theme is rather silly. Still, it's a game that's much more enjoyable to play than Call of Duty.

 

You know, I thought the same when I saw no stinger, and attack choppers were ruling the maps. But then I relised that you could get them into the coupes and sedans. If you have a friend who has them to so you have 2 stingers at the same time, the choppers
don't last very long.

I find the game amazing. The gamers often ruin it for me by not playing objectives etc. Get a teammate, both put stingers in the cars, or like others said find on the map, and choppers will not be much of a problem.
