This current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox LIVE. (Blops2)

Hi,

I kept getting randomly logged out of xbox live whilst playing Black Ops2. When i would log back in i would get a probation warning and 5 minutes wait to play again. Then this would happen again and again. I deleted my profile and downloaded it again as
it suggested on the forums. I have updated my security info which Microsoft had asked me to do and logged back in to play Blops. Now every time i go to play multi player i get the message " the current profile is not allowed to play Xbox Live". My membership
is not up and it automatically redeems itself every 3 months. There is no reason i should be banned as i have done nothing wrong. Can you please help?

Have you tried downloading your Xbox LIVE profile to your console as mentioned above, to clear up the issue?

Thanks for coming into the forums to get your issue solved.

So, it looks like your Gold status is still in good standing. I have a couple of questions for you.

First, have you tried re-downloading your profile to your console to see if that clears up the issue? Go to Social>Sign In or Out>Download Profile. Sometimes a simple refresh of your profile can straighten out those types of issues.

Second, is Black Ops 2 the only game that you are having an issue playing a Multiplayer game? If there's a game-specific suspension, you can post in the Activision Community Forums

here.

But, start out with the profile download, and check to see if you are having the issue with the multi-player mode in any other games. Let us know what you find out.

 

Hey mate, your issue sounds a little confusing, are you playing Black Ops on the account that you created this thread with? If so, it doesn't look like you have a current gold subscription which is need to access the multiplayer features of every game on
the Xbox.

Also generally the message "the current profile is not allowed to play Xbox Live" is displayed when you don't have a gold membership.

If you believe you have a game specific ban though I would get in contact with the game developer.

 

Is the 1 month free trial sufficient or does it have to be the paid membership? I am having the same problem.

 

The trial should be fine, did you redeem it and then immediately try and play or have you waited 24 hours?

If it doesn't recognise the trial when you redeem it, delete the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile.

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

That will generally make it sync up immediately.
