    Hi,

    I am from India owning an Xbox 360 and I am an annual subscriber of Xbox live service.

    This month the first game on offer was "Dark Souls". But it is not available in india for download. And Microsoft is not offering anyother game for download as alternative for my country. I am feeling cheated.CAN anybody guide me to what to do next.

    Also only one more day to go. :-(

    that error isn't the same issue as a region lock

    where did you buy your console from US or india?

    if your console is from india what is the region of your account ?

    if you bought an US console or ntsc console you must download from an ntsc region

    if you bought an india pal console you must download from a india account or a PAL region

    If you are seeing this error, then the content is most likely not available in your region. What region is your account, what region are you physically connecting from, and what content are you trying to purchase?

    no your only option is to setup another account for his actual region (canada)

    it does not need to be gold but the account is the only one that can download it

    dlc can be shared accross profiles so he can use us account still

    i dont think you understand the error you are receiving

    that error is because you are trying to buy something out of region not on your own marketplace aN irish creditcard cannot be used on the US marketplace



    change to the irish marketplace by changing the locale at the bottom of this page



    and all content available to the irish people will be available to you

    or you find stuff on your own console as it is linked to your marketplace correctly



    however you cannot queue from the US marketplace without a US account or another region

    if it is not showing on your marketplace then it isn;t available



    international distibution rights and copyright law isn't an silly error



    region locks only come into play if you have an regional account not where you physically are

    every single irish content is available to you as long as you are in ireland

    however US content isn't available to IREland accounts

    If the content is meant to be available in your region, then try downloading it from your console. If it was not meant to be in your region then there is nothing you can do.

    If you're receiving an error that it's not available in your region then that means you will not be able to use that content. Certain pieces of content might not be available to due regional laws.
