    Hi folks,

    I got a gift voucher code from Minecraft/Xbox during game-time, however it was for the wrong region GBP instead of Euro.

    I cannot redeem and contacted Support but was told to bring it back to where I got it, thing is I got it from Microsoft/Minecraft hence why I asked for assistance but got none, just a generic unhelpful reply.

    Can you please advise as it's soon about to expire.

    Unfortunately nothing can be done at this point. The region of a code cannot be changed.

    Sorry to hear it. Currency codes can only be used for the regions in which they were intended. You'll need to check to make sure that your gamertag and/or console are set for the proper region or contact the person you got the code from for more assistance.

    You dont you need to contact your retailer

    If it was a friend who gifted you a code he needs to refund it and buy from a local etailer for you

    Gifting has always been region locked
