I just purchased Far Cry 4 gold edition but as soon as I try to download any of the content the code (0x87e00005) appears & all installations immediately stop. I have 54% space on hard drive & I already checked for updates...what is happening here?

Give these steps a go:

1. Power down the console by HOLDING down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds until it shuts down
   
2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet (SPECIAL NOTE: Make sure the console is plugged directly into a wall outlet too!)
   
3. Unplug the cord from the console as well
4. Wait a minute
5. Plug the cord back into the wall
6. Plug the cord back into the console
7. Power it back on
8. See if that helped

I'm having the same problem and unplugging the power source hasn't helped.

Have same issue and error code, can't download a game. Powering down and unplugging has not solved it.

Same as above and my kids xbox now has several games all saying "installation failed or queueing" in the games hub. To be honest I have found the console very frustrating at times and trying to get answers even more so, especially with a reply of power the
console down.......don't you think people have tried that already
