    This Backwards compatible games is crap.


    Why would the start with the oldest games that most people don't play, try starting with the new games that are being played. I have Black Ops 3 for the 360, my system crashed so I upgraded to Xbox one, so I have a 2 month old game that Is no good to me
    anymore, and because all the games I play are only a few years old I can't play them. And because I didn't purchase it from the Microsoft store customer support can't do anything for me.... Just sucks you get ripped off buy paying full price for an incomplete
    game and are told to go pay full price for another.... Really disappointed ....

    Xbox requires the permissions from game developers before introducing that game into the backwards compatibility program. You can however, vote for which games you would like to see by clicking the link below:

    This is a Generation where Publishers have been asking themselves:

    "How can I make the player pay for this at least twice..."?

    There's incentive for MS sure, but for Publishers... not so much.

    You are right to feel ripped off.

    Why would anyone want to play Backwards Compatible titles in the first place?

    Apart from a small handful of games that will be 'really special' to certain individuals who cares about dated games when you could be playing the heaps of good stuff that's out today?

    The BC push is designed to do one thing: Encourage XBox 360 owners to come to the XBox ONE.

    It worked the way Microsoft wanted it to. Unfortunately not the way you wanted it to.

    The backwards compatible states that new games are coming each month, it doesn't state which games and the games on the coming soon list aren't necessarily the next ones in line, just that they have been confirmed. The program launched November 12th, so
    lots of things still need ironing out anyways.
