    i have gold membership i can buy games with gold but i cant play online

    i have tried every thing remove account ...power cycle.....quit game and re enter ......nat open....parental control (adult)....check connection .....upnp allowed in router....mac cleard.....change port.....

    still i cant play online

    any one can help me !

    Hey there Burke! Sometimes a Gold subscription can take a little while to register on your console if you purchase or redeem it on Xbox.com. I see you are showing Gold now, are you still having issues? Let us know, thanks!

    I have had my account for about 3 years, my live gold membership expired a couple weeks ago. I purchased a new membership today and it is still saying that I am not allowed to play online. I checked all my parental settings, etc. and everything is as it
    should be. If someone knows what to do that would be great.

    i talked with xbox support through chat and he helped me and every thing is okay

    Probably a caching issue if it's happening on the same console with different accounts. When the console is on, hold the power button down for 10 seconds. This will perform a hard reset and clear the cache. Try again once it's restarted

    In the post, i said ive already done this.

    When i go into my account settings, it just shows the setting is set to allow.

    ive tried switching it to block, which obviously gives me the exact same results, but when switching it back, it still continues.

    You should check your online xbox account settings and make shure it allows you to play online.
