Hi keep getting this message, never had an issue before but just paid my new yearly membership and cant play on line since?

So about a month ago my xbox live gold account ran out, so I purchased a 12 month redeemable code online. The new membership has been working fine up to this point. I've been playing alot of bo2 zombies lately and while I was about 2 hours into the map buried,
I got logged out and I had an error message that said the "server wasn't available at this time" . So I was able to log back in just fine but its like my account was hacked or something because I went up to check my account info, and for some reason my xbox
says my current membership is free, when I know for a fact it was gold. And now every time I try to play online I get this message "This account is not allowed to play on xbox live" I'm not sure what to do, I tried restarting my xbox but that didn't work.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Dark Link 900, so again I followed the steps you posted and my network connection is great! but my gold membership still appears to have vanished. I'm pretty frustrated because how does the membership just disappear? especially when I bought it just
about a month ago. Appreciate your time, and anymore help would be appreciated.

Where are you seeing this error message pop up?

Have you tried either of these things?:

Give your console a power cycle. (instructions)

Remove your account from the Xbox, and then re-download it. (instructions)

Hi, is your fried able to play other games online ? It may be that he was suspended from playing that specific game for whatever reason.

If your friends account is under parental controls then the parent account would need to sign in and enable multiplayer gaming on your friends account if that is blocked, also have your friend check the privacy & online safety settings on the account as
your friend may have inadvertently blocked multiplayer gaming.

Yep, your profile is showing your account as being silver again now. No need to worry about any bans at this point

Hey there!

Sorry to hear that you are having troubles staying signed in. Try
Deleting Your Profile (Profile ONLY, this will leave saved games and contents etc...)
Once you have deleted your profile,
Clear System Cache 3 times Now, in the first support link provided - if you go to that again, there is a guide there to download your profile.

So I followed the steps you posted above, and I cleared the system Cache but I'm still having the same problem. Im unable to play online, and I'm still getting the same error message. And under account management where it says "Your Memberships" My membership
an hour ago said "12 month prepaid card" but that's gone and all it says is "xbox live free"

This account is not allowed to play on xbox live!!
