    Third update for the past week


    Every time I turn on Xbox One it says there is a new update.

    Even when I was playing Forza Horizon 3, and was creating a new bucket list, after clicking "submit your creation" I was told that I am offline because there is a new update.

    I am tired of this. I would be happy to notice any improvment, but honestly, with each new update my Xbox becomes slower and slower. Any coincidense with the release of Xbox One S? Reminds me of Apple making their old iPhones work slower so we will buy newer
    devices.

    Are you talking about system updates or game updates? If you're talking about system updates, do you happen to be part of the Preview program ?

    Thanks for posting! I can verify you're in the Xbox One Preview Program, and while the feedback is most certainly appreciated, this is behavior that should be expected when opting in to preview unreleased software/features.

    If you would like to continue to be apart of the preview program, please check M3tal Daz3's link to the appropriate forum where new features can be discussed and any issues encountered could be reported in.

    If the Xbox One preview program isn't quite what you were expecting, you definitely have the option to opt out in the Xbox Preview Dashboard app which should be installed on your Xbox One console.

    Hi there,

    It looks like you are in the Preview Program, as I have also had the same updates. My best advice, would be to make sure that nothing else is running on your network. The error is likely due to a corrupted update, due to other traffic interfering. As some
    others have pointed out, please join the
    Xbox Insiders Reddit    , so someone can better assist you.

    I had a similar error the other day, where I turned on my Xbox, saw the new
    badly designed dashboard    , and THEN was randomly prompted for an update 10 minutes later, which failed. I powered down my Xbox, tried again a few minutes later, and it all went through properly.

    Please note that, as of 1400 PST, a new update has rolled out for
    Alpha     (1908.190802-1945),
    Beta, Delta and Omega     rings (1908.190731-1920), according to
    Brad Rossetti on Twitter     (@workwombatman).

    Maybe you will have better success with these more recent updates.
