Third Time Out

    Third Time Out


    Even though I like Microsoft Jigsaw, I must say that I will no longer be playing. I have brought up issues with the game which are in most cases created by ads hijacking the game and taking control. The game locks up, suddenly stops, or just disappears.
    There is another thing which I find very irritable. Whenever I work on a game which should take me 10 to 15 minutes to complete, the actual time spent is closer to an hour. This is due to the glitz and glamour written into the program. Whenever I finish
    a portion of the game, there are bells and whistles and gold bars and gold coins and other frills which the programmer feels are attractive to the player. Also, why is it necessary to keep downloading the same portions of the game over and over - another
    time waster. It is my hope that people are smarter and not brainwashed by this attempt at impressing them. At 74, my time is numbered and I do not want to waste time watching gold coins floating across the page. When I finish a game, or part of a game,
    just move on to the next part or game. I am turning the game off for now, and will possibly try again in about 6 months to see if things have improved.

    Would love to play more SP games through more than once, Bioshock 2 being one, but always end up getting an invite from a friend and playing another game online.

    Just bought Deus Ex 3 for a pound on Onlive. Streaming through a video may not be the optimal way of playing it but at least I can sort of pretend that I'm part of the PC gaming master-race.

    When I really enjoy something I can continue to dip back into that world and enjoy it as much as the first time.

    It depends on how much I enjoy the SP. Oblivion, Fallout et al have been played through mutliple times. Same with Dead Rising.

    Most FPS's only get a second play-through when going for the hard achievments

    LOve that game oh yessire

    and i expect i will be playing it so many times once i have it on my 360
