    Third series x console still doesn't work


    I got my xbox series x on day one. Loved it for about three months. Then the HDMI port went out. So I contacted customer support and had it shipped off.

    Got my replacement in and the console kept crashing when I tried to play COD Black Ops (digital) and AC Valhalla (disc) they both either crashed immediately or only a minute into the game.

    So I did all the steps they told me to do. Reset, unplug, even the offline update. Nothing worked. So I sent it off again and just got my replacement.

    STILL DOESN'T F***IN WORK!!!!

    I've "owned" the series x for six months and only got three months of play time on it.

    What is the actual issue with this happening? Software? Hardware? Online? WHAT?!? I see it has happened to multiple people and no actual explanation has been given.

    With the amount of time it takes to send it off, get it back, then set it all back up with the hours of re downloading my games, after Soo many factory resets to download games again. I'm seriously fed up. I spent good money on a mini fridge paperweight.

    Hello There! According to the explanation you have provided, the console crashes when you try to play COD, Therefore, the issue might be from from the game it self, this is why i highly recommend following the steps mentioned on the link bellow to resolve the game play issue

    The third restart of the XBox Series X has fixed this issue. Working as normal aagin.

    Doesn't work. Did it and download app and games. I'm still at 0 on 10 on device link with microsoft store. Already tried factory reset before your reply and did not work. And still have that bug with my series x. My console have already been changed last year !

    Hi yes I have a Xbox series x. I've also tried what you insisted but nothing seems to work. I'm stuck on the Xbox series x start up logo screen. Sometimes it acts up and sometimes it doesn't I even did a USB offline update today and still no luck. Thought of just keeping the console on instant on since it's the only way where it doesn't take long to boot up past the animation logo. Thanks

    The Series S/X is the new Xbox console. One games will work on a Series S/X because of backwards compatibility, but it doesn't work the other way around. Some games have been made for both, so you would need to make sure to buy a game compatible with the
    One.
