    Third INOP console this month


    My initial issue with my console seemed to be a software issue where my controller inputs would not be carried out. I would press A to select a language and it would bring up the same screen without progress. I could move with my joystick and hold A to repeatedly
    bring the same screen up without selecting the language. The controller works fine. I sent that console in for trade and the one I received black screened after the green logo screen without bringing up the language select menu. I tried an offline system update
    with no progress as well. I sent that console in as well only to receive my next console with the same problem as the first. I am tired of this lengthy round about of what is either bad software or bad luck. What am I overlooking? What are my options?

    Yeah, if they do it for one issue that renders the console inop, they should do it for every one that does. A defective unit is just that.

    Yeah, if they do it for one issue that renders the console inop, they should do it for every one that does. A defective unit is just that.

    I think mine kicked in last night after I finished playing, I thought the thing had broken as the button on the console was pulsing and the Kinect was flashing and voice command inoperative, normal service was resumed this morning!

    The Xbox One did not magically render the 80+ million existing 360 consoles inoperative. It also didn't put a stop to MS's plan to sell another 25 million 360 consoles over the next several years.

    People have a Microsoft console worth keeping Live on - the Xbox 360. Microsoft plans to continue selling the 360 for the foreseeable future.
    I never said it rendered any 360's inoperative, in any way. Like I said before, I really can't explain things any more simply than I already have. I'm really not sure why it's such a hard concept to grasp, but I'm not going to waste more time trying to explain
    it.
