    When the Series X comes out next Christmas, I’ll have three consoles in my household, as I’m really looking forward to getting that awesome console. I have 5 kids and four of them are already playing games on
    our two consoles, often arguing who’s turn it is to play.

    If Microsoft doesn’t allow family sharing / game sharing for more than two consoles by then, I’ll have no incentive to get the 3rd console as I can’t afford buying and subscribing to everything again.

    If Microsoft would just enable something like Google’s Family Sharing, where 5 accounts can share things, I’d be really happy. I understand they’re probably afraid some might misuse the feature, but couldn’t that be mostly solved by requiring the consoles
    to be on the same network?

    That’s why I’m bringing attention to it here :)

    If you’ve tried Google’s Family Sharing for YouTube and Google Play Movies, you must see how awesome that feature is.

    Microsoft’s approach to the issue is outdated in my humble opinion and definitely will be outdated when the Series X comes out and more households will be getting a third console for their families.

    It's possible to share you account with 5 devices, on Xbox One if one account have Gold Sub (eg.) all account login on that can share the benefits.

    Sorry but you have completely missed the point of the issue at hand.

    Yes it would be great to allow up to 5 accounts/consoles to share everything on the same network but we will have to see if they add anything like this.

    As it is now, its great for when you’re visiting a friend, like you say but it’s not great for families. For one, if I’m not home and my kids don’t have my PassKey (I don’t want them playing as me) they can’t use the 2nd console in our household.

    Second, this will be a total mess when we get the 3rd console. And I’m pretty sure we’re not the only family that will be getting a third console next Christmas.

    It’s just not family friendly enough at the moment. Really hope Microsoft sees this and looks at how fx Google is doing it.
