Thinking of buying an Xbox One but not sure

Both have pros and cons. What exactly do you want out of a console?

Tho id advise to be wary of getting both, unless you wanna play the next uncharted, halo, or whatever, owning both consoles are kinda meh when 80% of the games library are more or less the same.

also paying 2 subs can be a drain.

I'm like you, I came from PS (all of them, including the PS4), and I think that the XB1 has more to offer this generation. My PS4 is back in the box, and I haven't thought about it at all, since I purchased my XB1. If you want more than just playing games,
then the XB1 is a great choice.

 

I had both, got a ps4 in September and the xbox one on release day, took the ps4 back a week later, just not enough games I like on it, so sticking with xbox this time only, more games that I like to play.

 

I'm with drunky. I just got a PS4 as well and got TLOU, and then looked around and nothing really caught my interest. I played TLOU for about 90 mins last night then went back to the halo 5 beta until it ended and went to bed. The system is pretty good,
I have a lot to get used to. especially the controller which was killing my hands. but all in all i'm happy to have both, but the X1 right now has the bets games IMO. i've been playing alot of madden lately, which is on both. But for X1 only i've been playing
magic, sunset ovedrive, halo MCC, halo beta (which is coming out in a few weeks). also i haven't played recently much but titanfall was the bets game of 2014 by far. i logged in over 200 hours in it. Ryse, FM5, and DR3 are also great if you haven't played
them yet

 

I actually haven't really been on my XB1 much lately, Infamous, GTA5 and The Last Of Us is keeping me busy. But I know when a game comes out on the Xbox One like Quantum Break and other games I will be back on the Xbox and not so much on the PS4, and that
will keep on changing back and forth when games come out for it.

That's personally why I like owning both, I know there will be periods when one console won't be used for a bit but it's worth it when there's a must have games on both consoles.

 

Own both that way you dont miss out on anything and can get all the multiplats on the system where they perform best.

I own a PS4 for most my games and a XO for exclusives and (most) EA games. Also own a WII U for mario kart and smash brothers.

I have th ebest of all worlds and wouldnt want it any other way.

maybe because your silver? you miss out on all the MP stuff. Infamous doesn't interest me. I'm playing through TLOU. probably about 3 hours in. so far i gotta be honest. I don't get the hype. Its not survival horror, its not action, its not open world. The
best i can describe it is a stealth game w/o the cool gadgets. The gameplay feels like a 3rd person version of theif but without the open-ness and freedom of movement. I agree both is best, as both will have their ups and downs. But its clear some people
have a preference (which is ok) and its where they get their multiplats, but by no means do multiplats justify one over the other. Liike i've been playing madden alot, i got the X1 version because i prefer using it, but i would say that i barely play my PS4
because i have madden. doesn't make sense. know what i mean?

I'm just missing a wii u. i'd really like one for bayonetta 2 but can't really justify to myself having a 3rd console right now lol. plus my backlog is large. i have TLOU to play, halo MCC, magic, 3 madden connected franchises going, sunset overdrive DLC
comes out today, halo beta in like a week i'm over stocked

 

I'm not a silver. I changed my gamertag a few months ago and it never updated on the forums. Not sure how that has anything to do with what I said though? But it's down to what games you like. I'm a fan of the Infamous games and I've already completed TLOU
on the PS3 but happy to replay it again on the PS4.

This just in! Up to 6 gamertags can be on an Xbox One family. Only the gamertag who uses the console as their "home" has to have gold. They can "share" it with the other 5 "silvers" who can play mp and do anything else
a "gold" member can do. You're welcome.

 

yes i'm aware of that goth but usually when you see a silver account here, it means they don't have XBL gold. not always but usually, so if you don't have online access on one console, you probably won't use it as much as the other one was my only point.
thats why i have XBLG and PSN+

Tbh honest although I have xbox live and psn plus I don't really play online, I'm more of a single player gamer. I went a year without xbox gold and I didn't really miss it tbf.

I've tried getting my gold gamertag to show up on here, but I don't know what went wrong when I changed it.

i'm more of a PvP and co-op player. for me, online access is a must
