Thinking about purchasing a second Xbox One console....

I have been thinking about purchasing a second Xbox One console to keep in my basement but I had a few thoughts/concerns:

1. If I make digital purchases on 1 console do they get transferred to my other console or do I have to purchase them again?

2. Will I have an issue signing in and accessing content if I decide to go back and forth between console?

3. Can I, for example watch Netflix on one console and play a game online on the other console at the same time or will this violate have the same account signed in simultaneously?

I'm planning on making the purchase tomorrow if all goes well. Please let me know.

Sharing gold on xbox one(s)

Hi, xbox people! I am thinking of purchasing an Xbox one for my son, and we already have one. He has is own gamer tag and we share gold currently, is it possible to this with a second console?

1. You can download content you purchase on either console, but it will only automatically download on the console you have set as your Home console.

2. No.

3. You cannot be signed into the same account on both consoles at the same time.

Thank you Smwutches!! So other than financial purposes there's no reason not to have another console? Nothing as far as accessibility is holding me back, I have all the same access to both consoles. I would just hate to drop $350 just to find out I have
to jump through a bunch of hoops in order for me to have equal access to both consoles.

We recently got a second one and it's super easy to switch between the two. You still have to redownload everything on the new console, but once it's set up it's pretty easy. Since game saves are automatically saved to the cloud you don't have to do anything
extra there too. The only thing you'll really notice is that the system may have to resync your data when you start a game, but that usually doesn't take long.

Your point about suspend when you turn the console off is rendered irrelevant when you think that the PS4 turns on quicker.

Hi there. I have recently purchased the second console - it's been here for about 3/4 weeks now. It works fine. The Gold membership is from January I think and works perfectly on the console he has at home.

Most of the games he owns (a mix of purchased and free-to-play) are now downloaded on the new Xbox.
