Thinking about getting an Xbox One?

so my whole life i always been a nintendo guy and still am, but i am just tried of playing game by myself all of my friends have xbox one and they play COD and all these other games but the thing is all the games i do play are more cartoon (like nintendo
stuff) my questions is should i get an xbox one and is xbox coming out with cartoon game like nintendo does? also any other info helps a lot as well

Xbox has more excluses than those, like Forza, fable(?), and the ones you mentioned, gears of war and halo

While I personally prefer the Xbox 360 to the PS3, my brother owns a PS3, I've played it, and honestly I just really don't find that much of a difference, (except for the controller, which goes to Xbox IMO) I also love Xbox for a variety of other reasons,
I like the exclusives better, (there ARE more than just Halo and Gears), I care about Microsoft more, and you can upgrade your account to an adult account from a child account if you were under 18 when you signed up, instead of having to create a whole new
account (and forfeit all trophies, DLC, and username).

 

Well right about now is the best time to get an Xbox One. There will be a heap of Indy games coming out soon and a lot that I seen look cartoonish in nature. Retail release games I can think of that have cartoon elements - skylanders, Disney infinity, sunset
over drive, project spark and Fable legends come to mind. I think from memory a new kingdom of hearts will be coming out for the One in the new year as well.

 

First I'd like to say that the Wii U is awesome.

In regards to Xbox ONE games that are cartoonish, look no further than available only one the X1. Also, other catoonish games that were not mentioned above my post are Child of Light. It's a turned based RPG that is decent. Also Valiant Hearts which is a really slow paced side scroller about WW I.
Then there's D4 a point and click adventure that is also only available on the Xbox ONE that uses the Kinect and it works surprisingly well.

 

You should try to broaden your horizons. There are a lot of amazing games out there that you would undoubtedly love if you simply took the time to play them. But there are also games like Sunset Overdrive that will satisfy your cartoon fetish.

 

Stop thinking and get one . like the WULF wrote now is the time to get one .

The trade in program is a great way to save a few coins as well .

 

All great suggestions of games. I agree with Sword; there are lots of great games out there on all the great consoles. Broaden your game selection, and I'm sure you'll find lots of games you like. And if one of the motivations for getting an Xbox
One is to play with friends, then no matter what game you play, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.



Also (and I'm sure this sounds obvious but), unless you decide to sell your Nintendo, there's no reason to part with it. You can continue to play all the Nintendo games you enjoy. So even if your friends are playing CoD or Halo, you can still
get your cartoon fix in the latest Mario game.

 

The question you need to ask is "am I going play it."

This might seem like an obvious one but it really isn't.

Buddy of mine thinks the Xbox One is great but he never plays on it because he's buying the games he wants on the PC.

I'd see if one of your friends would be willing to lend you their console for a couple of days. Try it and see if it is something that you'd use.

 

Hey OP, I just have to say I jumped from Nintendo to Xbox around 2006 and it was the best thing I've ever done. The Nintendo was marketed towards the 'younger me' the 'older men' wanted more mature games and that's exactly what I got!

Come over, the grass is greener! haha =)

Also, there is no reason you can't enjoy both consoles! (if you have the time that is).

 

Op, you can play Cod Ghosts and Blops 2 on the Wii U. If you have the time? Buy all 3. Idk, I need some nintendo time sometimes. Now the dust has settled, I couldn't not recommend all 3 current consoles.
