Thinking about buying an Xbox One. Should I?

Just so you know, I got my Xbox One because of Sunset Overdrive

This game (Sunset Overdrive) is going to be so amazing because while I do enjoy playing serious games too, the change of pace that this game will offer is such a breath of fresh air in the stagnant environment of todays gaming selections

Why would you ask whether or not to get an Xbox One on the Xbox Forum? You know the answer you will get here. It will be Yes.

The same way if you asked if you should get a Ferrari on the Ferrari Forum. They would all say yes.

And it would be a no, and you would be considered a troll if you did it vice versa, like asking if you should by a Nissan on a Honda Forum.......

The Xbox One is a solid console now, with some solid looking games coming up, and a few solid games out now, depending on what you like.

As always it's horses for courses, what may suit you, won't suit someone else.

Buy it if you can, but at least do some research from non-biased sites, and retailers, and friends.

It's right what others have said though, when you ask on an Xbox forum what console to go for it's obvious what the majority will say, it would be the same asking on the PlayStation forums.

If I was choosing for the OP I'd say go for Xbox because it's the one "I" prefer but as I said to him before, choose the one that has the games you mainly want, if they want it for other things than games also, do some research and see what each offer.

Whatever they choose I'm sure they will have a great time.

so PSN wasnt down for almost 2 weeks then no REN

 

PSN was down check there forum out driveclub servers were playing up to or something

 

@N7...Are you talking recently? Because I can tell you that it hasn't.

@Messiah.....DC servers have been up and down. The actual network has been fine, minus the fact messages have been sending slow.

 

@N7 - Games are subjective...... Telling a person to get the X1 because in your opinion the Games and exclusives are better, when everyone is different.

And i have no problems with PSN, only the Driveclub issue, and i have no probs with that now.....

And it was not 2 weeks..... At least Tell the whole truth, not the the bits you want to hear N7. I know you don't like to hear it N7, but not every system is perfect. Not the X1, not the PS, Not the PC. At least admit that there is some bad bits (depending
on what you want to see changed first), and stop portraying every other company and their console as the devil in disguise.......

A sensible conversation is one thing. But picking and choosing what you want to use in that conversation is a non-starter... as no one will take you seriously

Xbox LIVE has issues, Playstation Network has issues and who knows what will happen next week/month? Maybe Xbox LIVE will melt, maybe martians will over run PSN and if either or both happen I'm sure fanboys will take great pleasure in invading the "other"
forum and reminding them how bad their service is, this sort of behaviour is beyond a joke now and so so childish.

I'll say again to the OP ...

End of the day you go for the one that you believe will suit "you" best, we are all different but I wouldn't let any post in here put you off either console, any console will have issues, any online service will have issues, our own broadband providers can
and will have issues, it's just the way of life, just go and enjoy the games and both consoles are offering gamers loads of fun now and it will only get better as time goes on.

Well, I was just wondering if it's really going to be true that the PS4 will end up with more exclusives than the Xbox One. I heard that the PS3 had more exclusives than the 360 did in 2013 or something like that.

I mean, I'm looking at the long term here. Also, my cousin's bf had an Xbox One and ended up returning it for a PS4...I know it's just one person's opinion, but still.

Kinda leaning more towards the XB1 right now.

Get the X1, So long as your happy with the Games, and overall experience.... Nothing else matters.
