Thinking about buying an Xbox One. Should I?

smart TV question with Xbox One

We need a new TV, and I was thinking of buying a Samsung smart TV. However, I am also thinking about buying an XBOX One. Should I bother getting a smart tv, or would the smart tv features be a waste because the XBOX one would have all those features (like
streaming, web browsing, etc). In summary, if you have an XBOX one, is there any reason to buy a smart tv?

 

My console got 1 red ring but it works now

I got a e68 error earlier but it seems to be working fine now. Should I i start thinking about buying new one ?

Does the Xbox One have a lot of local multiplayer options? I'd like to play it with my family/friends.

 

OP is already posting in the PS4 forum.....he's a bored troll. He's getting the same answers there from the Sony cheerleaders, he's not getting flamed.

So yes I have been to the PS forums, I'm there everyday. The biggest difference in the communities is that the PS crowd tends to be more critical of Sony than the Xbox crowd is of Microsoft which may explain the vast improvement from the PS3 to PS4.

 

Go buy your PS4 it is so powerful yawn

You've gone to both console forums asking for an "unbiased" opinion of which console you should get. That's troll 101.

If you're looking at buying a next gen console you go to the company's site and look at the features, exclusives and anything else (accessories, Plus, Gold, etc). Checking retail sites with reviews will also provided less biased information if you're concerned
about failure rates, etc. Consumer 101

I can give you an unbiased opinion on both because I have no loyalty to either platform but in the end it's just my opinion and I don't know you. You shouldn't need someone to tell you which console to buy....look at the features and games and choose. Only
you know which will meet your needs.

Well, it helps because you can tell me which one you use more, stuff like that. I forgot to mention that I usually don't own more than two consoles per generation.

So if I can only get one, which one should I get?

Idk why it's so difficult to decide, I guess I just want to be happy with my purchase. Quantum Break and Scalebound look like they'll be fun, along with Sunset Overdrive. So there's that.

No. A better alternative would be to take the money and donate the cash to starving children in Cambodia. You'll sleep better at night knowing that the world will be a better place because of your sacrifice.

Hello "XxUndeadPenguin"

I've only have my Xbox One for a short time, but I've been with the Xbox brand ever since the Original Xbox. The Xbox 360 is my number one all time favorite console ever, but I still love my Xbox One

(1) The install times weren't that big of a deal because while Forza Motorsport 5 and Destiny were being installed (Yes, I only own 2 Xbox One games and Sunset Overdrive will be my 3rd), I was watching a movie.

(2) I understand your doubt about the DRM Policy, but I am confident that all of that is in the past because of the massive negative backlash that it created in the first place. There is nothing wrong with the Xbox One and I love the games that are on
it.

The Playstation doesn't have Halo, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, Jade Empire, Fable, and Sudeki (just to name a few) so it wasn't for me.

The Original Wii (which I was able to try because I babysit my Friend's kids) was fun to play, but not to own. I got bored after playing it for about an hour.
