Think my account was hacked

I am getting messages from people I don't know and had someone respond to them from my account. I am the only one who uses my account but I did sell an old xbox a few months ago without wiping my hard drive could that be theasier issue?

I think my account was hacked

my ONEM4DST0K13 account got hack and the person put a mod menu on it but now i cant get it back ive changed my password and tried to get it back just and it started working but then it said it couldnt be downloaded

In fact, yes. If the system wasn't wiped, your account is still on the console. If your account isn't password protected then the account is open and access-able. I do believe that if you were to change your Microsoft account password, the account will
require you to sign in on both consoles. If the person doesn't sign in, they won't be able to access the account.

yes I believe you are, call MS support and then wait and wait and wait probably going to take forever to get your points back.

This is a known occurance. It is a result of EA's site being hacked a few months ago, and people's Live accounts (which they link when signing up for the EA site) are being compromised.

You will want to call xbox support as soon as possible. If/when you get your account back, be sure to change your password immediately.

For others who have signed up for EA's site, if you used your WLID as your e-mail, but sure to change your password.
