Now... no one seems to care about that game but for those who do...

It's coming out on Sep. 8 and shall dominate every other game that exist. (no sarcasm involved because I'm NEVER sarcastic)

Thanks for the reminder, but my local games emporium (EB Games down under - the equivalent of GameStop in the US) just mailed out some useless CLICKBAIT... reminding me that super-duper ultimate boxed editions of Destiny 2 are available for preorder! The
fastest I've *ever* deleted spam in my life! #feelsgoodman

 

Nay. After what they pulled with the first one there's no chance i'm buying this.

 

I really just think it's gonna be more of the same... but there seem to be some who still love the game. My friend list even has some of them. Maybe I should remove them? lol

 

I remember scoffing at Official PlayStation Magazine (Australia)'s review of the game and how they were the *first* in the world to bestow a 10/10 on it... because Bungie; because nothing else on PlayStation up until that point had been a "Halo killer" -
not even Killzone, the biggest and baddest threat in their arsenal. Turns out that not even Bungie could out-Bungie themselves! Because Master Chief; because enshrined lore; because Xbox killer app.

However, now that I'm only two short months away from climbing aboard the Good Ship PS4, and I have no other way of obtaining my cherished *white* console because Destiny 2 is the pack-in game and I'm paying a premium price for both (in fact, it's gonna
be the same price as One X down under), I'm at least prepared to put my prejudices aside, and play the new (and hopefully improved) campaign mode. Not holding my breath, and I hardly expect to be spending the rest of my days there, but without any sign of
a true Halo killer (app) on the horizon, I guess second-best will have to suffice.

A bit miffed I've laid down $100 for it and was obvi excluded from the early beta because NO CONSOLE TO PLAY IT ON. *facepalm*

 

After trying out the beta I have to say... "OMGoth it's the greatest game eva!".

But seriously... because I'm #AlwaysSerious, I'm not hugely impressed. As I thought, it seems more of the same.

 

While Destiny won't appeal to everyone, its the one game I salivate over. But will likely never get to play... Unless I can get a gaming PC.

"Destiny 2: Guardian Boogaloo" should've been another DLC pack after Rise of Iron. I'm not sure why it had to be a full game - there's minor UI and game mechanic differences, but the game still plays and feels exactly the same as the first. Maybe I guess
ravaging the Tower means it's going to confuse the heck out of new Destiny 1 buyers, so Bungie must absolutely release it as the fully-priced sequel.

Didn't WoW do the same thing to its world with Cataclysm? Eh, nevermind.

Might try the PC beta out to finally give my overpriced video card some use. Depending on how things go, I might wait until I can find the game at the appropriate "DLC" price on eBay or something.
