Things XBOX ONE doesn't do that 360 did. PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES!!!!

First of all i was extremely excited to get my new XBOX on release day. As i open the box and set everything up i begin by simply watching a few movies. Come to find out this new device does not have window media player and cannot search the network for
media. This is in stark contrast to the wonderful 360 which i used much as a media pc with my tv. The next obvious thing to do is to simply throw a flash drive in and play it from there right? wrong! This new brick can only use scan disk flash drives and flash
drives with the XBOX logo on them. Well i decide to do some research and come to find out, i can play the movie from my pc with the "play to" feature on windows 7. I begin by finding my movie and right clicking to get to "play to". I click it and nothing happens.
I tell my XBOX to go home and then try it; nothing happens. Finally i try it about 6 times and 3 different movies before one takes off. It starts to play and i soon realize i cant pause, rewind or fast forward with the xbox and instead have to get up and
go to the computer to do anything. Come to find out i need to sacrifice a goat and pray 6 times will waiving to the kinnect sensor and casting a spell for it to even play my movie. Also my kinnect is pretty terrible. i tried playing all those fun games i see
advertised and it doesn't work at all or is extremely difficult for me to play much less my 9 year old nephew. Does any one have any insight as to when these problems are going to get fixed if at all?

I cannot log in to any accounts on my Xbox, I tried fully shutting down my Xbox and restarting it and that didn't work so I tried disconnecting my wireless connection and reconnecting it and that did not work either, what do I do?
Also these types of things should not be happening I just want to play xbox and now I can't, I was just playing yesterday! Why do these dumb issues exist with no easy ways to fix them, and why is Xbox support slow and gives you help that does nothing. Please
give me real help to fix this issue.

 

Xbox One Unplayable - Disconnected from Xbox Live every 3-10 Mins

@Sm in 1080p I'm having the same issues. But the stupid thing is, this isn't the first time it's happened. Xbox live services for Xbox one has had more issues then I can count. I've not had these issues with Xbox or Xbox 360. The only thing that seems to
fix the issues for a short time is when Xbox live goes completely down for maintenance. Honestly I don't think Microsoft has the ability to maintain the 300,000 servers and all its players.

 

Oh look. A zero gamer score silver account complaining. How original! I got a new title for you. Things the xbox one can do that the 360 can't. Guarantee there's a lot more!

 

Oh look. Someone on the internet the with a belligerent attitude and nothing useful to contribute. How original! Actually Xbox live doesn't recognize my gamer tag or my profile information and gave me this stupid gamertag. As i appreciate you wanting everyone
to know your cleaver and i'm not maybe write something useful or go troll xbox live or the one direction twitter account.

 

I realise that your annoyed that the Xbox One doesnt have features that the 360 does, but all of these things were known before the console launched. If your spending £430 ($500) on a piece of equipment you should really do some resaearch and find out what
it can and cant do.

Those features are coming though, its just a matter of when.

The Xbox one will support external media devices soon (any USB3 compliant) so does not have to be xbox branded, that should help you move movies around. I am sure the reason for this lack of support is probably piracy and wanting to introduce a more secure
way to do this in the future. I am not saying your movies where copies

I have not had problems playing movies xbox pause and xbox play worked first time, I have not used hand gestures with movies. I have only played the demo of sports and it worked well, but not my cup of tea, much prefer sitting down

 

Ive been using the play to feature and live it.

 

DuFFuL is still on the X1 guard dog duty I see.

 

I see people can get on XBOX.com but cant do any research on the things there buying.

TBH I have not heard of this flash drive stuff was that not the 360 ?

 

To all saying I didn't research this thing before I bought are wrong indeed. I spent many hours reading everything thing I could find about the xbox one. I watched videos and read blogs and all I ever heard about constant internet connection and not being
able to trade/sell games (none of which I care about). As it happens xbox didn't exactly advertise it short comings. All they had to do is take the xbox 360 OS and implement it for xbox one. Then if they wanted to add the TV control bs so be it, but at least
the core is there and works well. That's what Apple does for the iPhone and it always works relatively well. By the way I asked the xbox support team why I can't use my flash drive and they assured me only scan disc and "xbox" flash drives are properly "formatted"
to be used by the xbox one.

 

BY THE WAY what's OP mean?
