Things that need changed (opinion)

I upgraded from 25 to 15 the other day, and there are a couple gripes I have. But before that, I have to say the new defensive system is a ton of fun. After playing primarily create a player as a QB so I can avoid playing defense, I'm doing a full on franchise
just to play defense. In fact, I used an entire draft rebuilding my D, instead of drafting the best O talent I could becaue D is usually nonsense. The new tutorial is in depth and fantastic for new players, and gives a good insight into the video game-ness
of offense.

But the gripes... I have a lot of good things to say about the gameplay. But the presentation is a mess.

1) Coin toss - I understand they want to do "TV Presentation", but can you make it so I can actually kick off first? I changed it in my team settings, I changed it on the ready screen before a game starts, but somehow, I've managed to receive EVERY kick
off in almost 3 seasons. I want to kick first! Let me do that please. Or fix the system thats supposed to let me.

2) In game replays - I understand they want to do "TV Presentation", but can I please turn off the replays? Give me the option to at least. I don't get hours and hours to play, so I don't want to spend half the game rewatching the other half. I end up wasting
most of my timeouts as I hit b to skip it naturally, and it leads to me calling a spike. Or at least let me summon the "call a play" screen over the replay, so I can watch it if I want, or skip it if I don't.

3) Let me skip the intro ramblings! I understand they want to do a... well ,you get the point. Just let me play the game. Simms and Nantz are just a bore, and I already mute them in game anyway, so I just have muted talking heads for 30 seconds. On the flip
side, separate the pregame / halftime dude from simms. I actually like to hear what he says, but not as much as I dislike hearing the other guys.

4) Fix the hurry up offense camera - It zooms in on the QB when they do a hurry up offense, and it screws up the defense camera so I can't see the field. It also makes it impossible to see if someone doesn't get back in time so I can't call a TO if they
are offsides.

5) This may seem petty. but if I'm playing 8 minutes quarters, can the league be simmed as 8 minutes quarters? I'd like to see where I really rank against the other teams statistically.

If asked, I'd take strong gameplay over presentation 10 out of 10. But in the words of Tony Stark... Is it too much to ask for both?

Quite the list. Your game request, although reasonable to an extent are flawed. What happens when the next Madden is out and you say Madden? Specific commands are a necessity in certain cases. The more "flexible" they are with word choice the more chance
for error.

 

What do you guys think of the new XBOX ONE?

In reply to the OP, at this point I'm disappointed. I'm not going to say why and be flamed for having an opinion, but I WILL say that there are some things that would need to be changed in order for me to purchase the XB1.
