Things I'd forgotten!

one of the most stand out features that I'd forgotten about when playing MCC was the use of health packs. In this day and age where it's common for health to just regen after a small amount of time, it's crazy running around thinking where the hell is a
health pack. In a way I have missed it as I feel it puts more of an edge and tension into the game that new games lack. In most new games you just back off, hide behind something, and bam! You're ready to go. While I think that works for multiplayer, I think
it loses a sense of urgency in single player campaigns. Any thoughts?

I have a feeling that FABLE LEGENDS will not be out in 2015.

Had some money in my account that i'd forgotten about so i've just downloaded this.

 

I think several things...

1. Get gooder ya Poser.

2. If you had let someone play CO-OP with you, like ZTrooper for instance maybe you wouldn't have had a problem.

3. Did the Mrs. Bring you a health pack with your beer?

But yeah I agree with you, it does add more tension to the game.

 

No health pack with my beer unfortunately! And as for trooper, I was waiting to see what happened when you guys invited him into a multiplayer match. Guess you found out once the aggression started

Ah but there's no aggression like troopergression!

 

ODST came out in 2009? Even then it felt weird hunting down health packs.

 

The health packs, no looking down sights with rifles (except pistol and sniper), no sprint, no reload speed increase. One can forget how spoiled we get after COD and Destiny with weapon and armor upgrades. Master Chief got it done old school!

 

Oh yes king! The amount of times I've accidentally lobbed off a grenade cause of the usual left trigger aim down the site thing is crazy. Clearly master chief is a professional fire from the hip kind of guy

 

Like what they did in Far Cry 3-4...It's more RPG style.

But would be a bit weird,seeing Master Chief eating mushrooms.

 

Troopergression is the best agression.

 

i did also forget how irritating the flood can be. And how easy it is to get lost in the halo in combat evolve. The amount of sections that look exactly the same as the last is infuriating at times. It's like the level designers used way to much copy and
paste. Glad they mostly fixed that in halo 2!

 

You wouldnt have to worry about the flood if you would play co-op with me.

 

My outstanding memory of playing this originally is how annoying the flood were in places and endless exact same looking locations. It's one of the doubts I have about buying this again.
