Thief

    Don't know much about thief, but from what I've seen it plays a lot like dishonored, even using that swift rush move while remaining undetected. Dunno if killing is discouraged but in dishonored you would usually choose a path, passive or aggressive etc...

    I think the game is taunting me now.

    Seen the new trailer today and in the last 3 hours I've seen the game advertised on TV a few times lol.

    Roll on next week.

    Thief looks about on rails as on rails can get.

    The game looks like theres more hand holding than I can stand.

    Not really,for each missions you got different paths and you can choose the way to do it.

    When you're not in a mission you can take a walk around the town.

    You can choose in the setting the way the game help you or not....

    You can make the game very hard if you wish from what I understand. The ideal way to play is to be stealth and avoid confrontation. Why the game is not for me, I like to kill those in my way and hide the bodies. That is about as stealth as I get.

    After,reading/watching some reviews,i'm disapointed.Between the lack of freedom, loading screens,and a 15 hours (not really great) story + side missions....Doesn't seems a game for me....

    ^^ Agreed. My gf was interested in it until she saw some gameplay reviews and it turned her off.

    I wasn't expecting much from this game anyway. That's why I'm renting it from Gamefly instead of buying it. Still, I'm gonna wait until I play the game before I decide if I'm disappointed or not. My copy will be arriving on Wednesday.

    My copy will be here Wed from Gamefly also. Was getting a little bit worried as I had sent Knack back last Tuesday just to get Thief but did not get an email stating they received it until today but got an email stating that Thief went out also. Will keep
    everyone posted also. Not buying another game until Titanfall and the The Show in May.

    In Thief you can complete the game without killing a single creature. Whether to kill or stay stealthy is up to you. For me I go for the max challenge of 0 kill/alert/suspicion/knockout + 100% loot.

    There is one type of 'supernatural' enemy in Thief.

    It doesn't effect it at all. The key to being a good Thief is not letting people know you're a Thief. ;)

    Alchemy leveling?

    did you find the 3 standing stones near where you start? near the first town? warrior mage and thief stones, alchemy is considered a "thief" skill so go and choose the thief sign when you want to level your alchemy by tasting and mixing potions. will go
    20% faster with the thief stone.
