Thief

I remember this series along time ago on pc, but never played it. It seems it will be similar to Asssasins Creed. What will set these two games apart? I am just looking for a new game and just tired of the AC series, however Thief looks interesting.

I think with thief being focus more on stealth and it being first person will set it apart from AC. The game play looks pretty sick, might just have to pick it up when its released.

 

Doesn't look too much like Assassin's Creed to me. If anything, it looks like a more developed Dishonored, but Dishonored was basically a nod to Thief, if the older Thief games were anything like the one thats going to come out.

Is this coming on Xbox 360 and PS3, or is it a nextgen exclusive?

 

Played the one that was released on original xbox , enjoyed it , shall Defo get this when I eventually go next gen .

It was intended to be next gen only but now it's coming to all platforms.

It's on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

Actually this doesn't appear to be entirely true.



Early feedback on this game says that you can tell the character models were designed with the last Gen in mind.



It's like "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag" where even though the game looks really good on the ONE you can really see the 'last gen' nature of the faces they're using. My wife even asked me "What's wrong with their faces" when she saw some conversation scenes.



I'm pretty sure it will be good but I'm sure we can rely on the internet to tell most people how they're supposed to feel about it.

I've played all of them, glad a new one's finally coming out.

I hope it still has a bit of a horror vibe to it like Deadly Shadows did. That game creeped me out as a kid.

thief is a FPS game. assassins creed is third person. thief is about stealing stuff. assassins creed is about assassinating templars. the only thing they will have in common is stealth. i have thief pre-ordered for xbox one. can't wait until it comes out.
looks so cool. i never played the PC ones because i couldn't afford a PC to run the games back then. i wish the old school PC thief games would be included on the disk as a nice bonus since those games never had a console release as far as i know.
