Does This Make You Excited for Thief?

I know this is the trailer already posted by Mr GG ( see link below ) but it says that the game has gone Gold so it looks like there will be no delays

No upcoming games previews

I think they might add it,but right now they are only 3-4 big titles until june (Tomb Raider,Thief,Titanfall).....When Tomb Raider was announced there was a trailer on Xbox one....

 

Has this been given a release date yet? Seen some sites have it down for 28th feb but i doubt thats correct but i may be wrong.

 

Everywhere I look it says the 28th February, even in the video shown it says the same, well 25th for America and Europe a few days later.

Fingers crossed there's no last minute delays.

 

I read it went Past the final release cert stage (gold is it?) last week I think. Was on the fence now I'm pretty much sold. Just hope it lives up the dizzy heights of Dishonored?

I'm getting really hyped for this now, just hope I don't over hype it for myself :-/

 

Trailer looks good, like abit of stealth from time to time but not sure if its a game i would enjoy if its like dishonored as i didnt like that.

Let's hope the game mechanics are solid and entertaining enough to surpass the "novelty" stage.



I like how you're able to pretty much rob who you want from the get go and not necessarily restricted to "set piece heists".



If it plays with an approach like the last "Hit Man" that's not a bad thing for this sort of game.



What would be amazing is if they could randomly generate people's neighborhoods to stop people gushing with spoilers on the interweb.

 

Im hoping it has the replayability that Dishonored had. Mulitiple routes and approaches to the same objective.

Its weird this game is right up my alley on paper and I will be picking it up, but I cant say im looking forward to it or overly excited by it. Hopefully that will change when I play it.

 

I've got this on pre-order as well, never played a Thief game before

Also, picked up Dishonored in the sales lastnight for about £8.00 on GOD.
