Thief MidNight Release!

So far I have only noticed small things like walking through a curtain and Garret's hands do not show up or also when climbing the rope his hands will be gone. I'm loving this game. Graphics are good. I came up on this scene overlooking what looked like
"Big Ben" was awesome

 

i meant at the end of the video it went grey. i heard there is a sound sync problem on the game

is it true fps dropped down to 10 on both consoles.but it runs better on xb1

Apparently Castlevania LoS 2 comes out on March 6 for me now, so I guess the choice is now easier for me and I'll pick Thief instead on Friday.

What's everyone's impressions so far?

 

So. I finally made it home from work today. Midnight release was fun but I stayed up till about 5am PST then left for work at 6:30am PST. Not good my easy day turned into a night as well so that sucked.

Anyways my impressions were good. I mean I walked through some water too fast and a guard heard me. Peering through key holes and looking around before going through a door. Yea no more surprises on the other side. IMO that is a crucial aspect to sneakers.

I don't know I'm sure the negative will roll in with the good. As I paid little attention to the flaws I just can't point them out! Best I had was the hands disappearing thing.

The grey screen must have been an upload issue. The video plays fine when I look through my OneDrive.

I would like to say thanks guys for helping me get through the wait time for this game. Pretty much most of you played a part in my install party, even though I wish you would have been able to join us with your voice and the game. All your additions added
to the 7 people we did the party chat with. Thanks for keeping this thread pretty clean also. Wish the other threads could do this.

 

Also please add any flaws in the game yourselves may have noticed. I am curious.

Also did anyone notice the time when PvZ and Thief finally went live on the market place?

P.S picked up PvZ after work today. Doubt I'll game much till later tonight though. "Nap Time" so feel free to hit me up as myself and friends will be looking to team up on some Garden Warfare.

 

The 2 things that turn me away from buying this game right now instead of later is...do anyone who own the game find this a little frustrating or is it not a big deal???

1. load times roaming the city.

2. horrible map.

 

Actually I found the load times much better than any game out as of today, I will say roaming around can feel disorganized but that really is just because of the poor map. (Yes the map sucks) but overall I lost track of those downfalls immediately as I just
kept finding things to steal everywhere.

 

Its a free roam type of game right? ive just been too spoiled with games like gta 5 where there is no load times just going through the city and not doing any of the missions.

 

I'm liking it so far. The free roam is similar to Arkham City.

 

Loading time is good i die and back playing very very quickly,better that ryse or forza. I only got about 1 hr in this morning , can't wait to get some more in.

As for maps , I suck with all maps ( thx for gps) so that's not a factor for me. I jusy play the game were ever i go i play it.Haven't noticed any problems at all yet. I sold ryse for 40.00 added in 20.00 I'm happy with it.

 

really tempted to get it ... but do you ever find the game frustrating because of the map and not knowing where to really go?...or is it that fun that you dont even notice it? How is the AI?
