    With my Xbox One S I went through 5 different controllers in less than two years compared to a single DualShock 4 in almost 5 years. But all my faulty Xbox Controllers had one thing in common, an unresponsive A-Button. Currently using my Xbox Series S daily since day 1 and this is already my second controller here. The first one had a stuck screenshot button and the analogue sticks were both pretty stiff. This one had the unresponsive A-Button problem, but not as worse as the replacement they send to me. I mean, c'mon it's an issue many people faced. At the moment, I'm playing Cyber Shadow and it's a game where you die a lot. 50% of these death's is due to the not respnsive A-Butoon. I'm using this controller for about 3 month's now and the buttons already feel like IÄm using this thing for years daily at least 10 hours. It's simply frustrating. Using the Series S kinda feels like I'm still stuck to the old generation. Also still refuse to buy this battery charge kit while their expensive Elite Controller had an internal battery and doesn't need an external charge kit or even worse, traditionall AA-Batteries.

    Sorry for sounding so frustrated here but now I have another peace of junk here and I have to contact this horrible german support who does not understand my native language language properly.

    I ask the community: Are there any good third party controllers out there? I don't mean Elite Controllers which will cost me 180 Euros (that's the price of the Elite Controller here) but a solid alternative to the normal Xbox Series Controller in the price range to 40-50 Euros (Dollar, pick your favorite currency). I really do think that the new one they will send to me will not be any better in a few months, a new problem occurs.

    Hi, if the controller is still under the warranty period, the better choice is to ask for a replacement.

    I have recently fixed an issue with the RB button (it was unresponsive in some cases) on my standard controller simply using a spray contact cleaner on the internal button contact, but to do that you will need to open the controller and invalidate the warranty...
    therefore I suggest you to find a way to have a new controller as a replacement or a reparation under warranty

    It does not.Only way my controller turns on and get to the menu when I need is when I press the home button and up and right on the D pad at the same time. My home button is completely unresponsive on it's own

    I know that this can be a bit dumb but may I know if you tried re-pairing the controller with your Series X?

    Or please remove the controller batteries, then do this in your Xbox:
    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
    Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    After that, put the batteries in the controller. Re-pair it one more time and check
