They should work more on the features for Xbox One

Yeah they got our money already. No incentive for them to fix these things. They should have waited a year to get the features they still advertise as it being actually to work. "All in One" console. More like "All in One half" a console.

On topic: I think we just have to wait till we get closer to launch, before making a decision on PS4 or Xbox One. Undoubtedly there should be more information given on how things (DRM, Kinect, Online check ins) work for Xbox One and how other features will
work on PS4.

 

difference in words... GAME sharing is sharing a game as a whole PLAY sharing is sharing a single play.. from what the OP said and how I took it... he wanted Demos... XB1 has demos just not for the games he wanted. If he wanted to share a game to see if
he liked it on PS, he would need to jump into someone who has the game... has already progressed and most likely is on another level that would not do anything on a basis of "do I want this game?" To me and how PS announced the play share was "Have you ever
been stuck on a level you cannot pass? Now your friends can help you!"

To demo a game on the XB, you can rent from Gamefly... install from disc and play it. Dont like it? send it back, do like it? send it back and buy digital version...

@tohellnbak, you can play the whole of anothe game on ps4, admittedly in 1 hour chunks with no trophies but it can be done and its free. Gamefly isnt (im guessing). Shareplay is not perfect but as i said at least its something.

No doubt if it ever came to XO everyone round here would be praising it.

Either way doesnt bother me, just pointing out to the fanboys like Hammr that the at least the ps4 has something.

 

The One shares a Gold Sub between alll users and with a Home Console you can have another "slave" console that shares all digital content fully.

The owner but who really care about cheevos/trophies? I just play games for the fun of it, something i can do in shareplay. Why has everyone got such a thing against shreplay? Sure its not perfect but it is SOMETHING.

 

I am not knocking what the PS has... I can see where that is useful to some people... but it is not a demo.. not a game share.... it is a hey take over my progress for an hour...Would be like letting your buddy borrow a book but rip out the first 100 pages...

XB1 has the home gold share... full game from the beginning ~ unlimited time, achievements are YOURS... sure it can only be done with ONE person at a time (3 people in a 365 day period) but I think that far exceeds 1 hour chunks of a game picking up where
the owner left off...

 

The ps4 has family share of digital content aswell so dont see why were comparing that?

Home share is also a good aimed more for people who live in the same house imo, the big draw back is you cannot share disc games.

One thing shareplay allows that i wish was on XO aswell was MP trials over the internet.

Im not knocking the XO i wouldnt have bought one if all i was guna do is knock it but i would like to see a similar feature to shareplay on XO.

Looking at the faq posted earlier if both people have PS Plus you actually can play together on games with same screen multiplayer, like Diablo or Rayman Legends or split-screen games if PS4 has any. And I had also heard that you can just start another session
when one ends so it is actually a pretty nice feature for PS plus subscribers I wouldn't mind having that or something similar for Xbox.

Unrelated note I have seen your tag on the forums for months now and always wondered how in the heck would you pronounce that word and only now realized it is actually a shorthand version of four words. I feel a little slow now.

 

@Boas - Just out of curiosity when you say PS4 has family share of digital content what do you mean?

On Xbox I can buy a digital game one time and play it on two different consoles at the same time with the right setup, can that be done on PS4? Or are you referring to any user on one PS4 being able to play digital content another user has brought on the
same PS4?

The OP asked a simple question...does the Xbox have a feature allowing him to try friends games before purchasing them like the PS4 does. The simple answer would have been.... No.

Rather than leaving it at that someone decided to try and tell the OP you couldn't do it on the PS4 which is blatantly incorrect. Now we get the Xbox defenders coming in and pointing fingers at the "bad guys" that always start the comparison threads.

I have no problem with those of you who don't like or won't use the feature but the people who join these threads to post utter nonsense simply to defend you're brand of choice are the problem not me.
