watched some streams on twitch earlier... looks good but somewhat generic.. man w/ weapon VS zombies...

only so many time you can make a game like that

 

It's definitely not on the purchase list, although I did say I wouldn't get Resident Evil either.

I'll wait for peoples thoughts before I jump in, I have enough to play at the moment anyway.

 

It's my most anticipated game though I have to wait until the end of February to play it.

 

I'm probably not going to get this game, but I do want to wait and see if it's any good as a possible potential purchase. I also have a lot of friends who are eager to play this game.

 

I mean to me it does look very similar to dead island and I love that game, so I already know I'm going to enjoy it.

 

My rental copy will be here on Wednesday. It's going to have to wait until I'm done with Gat out of Hell, though

 

I cant sleep its out at 9 pm here in canada today on the west coast , i am a die hard deadisland fan and i keep watching vids on dyinglight . i just hope there is not a huge day one update because its downloaded but it is showing that there is a update and
of late the updates are bloody big , i just want to play it right now . Add me as a friend if you want to get some mp or co-op going some time .

 

It will look like "Dead Island" because it's made using the Techland Engine that they used for "Dead Island".

Watched some multiplayer footage and it looks like "Dead Island" meets "Left 4 Dead".

We'll see when it releases if it's different enough to be... well... different.

 

Really cannot wait to try it out this week.

Like others have said, it looks like Dead Island, a series that I've loved but just set in a different location, meaning not an island lol

Could say that about most games. Many of the big shoots come to mind. And those are just a man (woman) w/ weapon vs. I am not sure I am going to get this game. But it is nice that they added in better movements for the main character. A lot of Zombie
games I have played over the years you do not move the best. I guess it is a way to make it a little more heart pounding or something. And then if the story is good that will make a difference for me. Not to mention if the night game is improved.
