    Wrongful Forced gamertag change

    My gamertag that I PAID FOR and that i have had for over 2 years was deemed inappropriate just today and was forcefully changed and now they want me to pay to change it. My name was [Mod Removed]. [Mod Removed] It is wrong that my name was forcefully changed
    and they wabt me to pay for it.

    yeah but I want my gamertag changed and I still have 2 pay after they removed my gamertag as far as I'm concerned i shouldnt have 2 pay if they want my gamertag changed to something more appropriate then Microsoft should pay for

    The enforcement team are the only ones who handle forced name changes and they do not use the forum. Submitting a case review is the only way to contact them and try
    getting it overturn and they might allow you for a free change, but this is really no guarantee.

    well most force name changes are in that format so yes you got one you want to change it to something you will have to pay for it and keep it E for everyone too many forced name changes results in perm ban of live.

    that type of name (random name/number combo) means you got a forced name change as your old one was against the rules. if you want to change it to something else, you will have to pay 10 bucks to change it. FYI do not change it to another name that is
    against the rules as too many force name changes results in perm ban of Live.
