These Xbox forums seriously need a facelift and to be restructured. Needs to be more like PS ...

I don't understand why Microsoft hasn't given this forum a serious facelift and restructuring of the forum subsections. You have to hunt way too much just to find the Xbox One General Discussion forum when it along with Xbox One Support forum should be the
first thing you see when you click to go to Results in Xbox - Microsoft Community.

There are too many subforums that get little activity when Microsoft needs to be directing everyone straight to one or two main ones and get rid of the majority of the others.Because of it the Xbox One General Discussion forum doesn't get anywhere near the
traffic and posts as the Playstation General forums.

Microsoft creates operating systems for a living, I don't see why they haven't created a much better looking and up to date Xbox forum. They love the use of tiles in Windows 8 and Windows Phone and on the Xbox One, how about using them on the Xbox Forums
and give the forum a make over?

Forums need to be retitled.

Still says solid when its now dead. Its Metal Gear Rising.

 

I like the idea of using tiles.

I still can't believe that our Xbox one games don't show up in our profiles on here. I remember that being talked about a year ago.

 

Ztrooper16, because forums are like one big advertisement for your console and games and a great looking forum that funnels everyone into a few main forum sections helps the community to grow larger and become more active. It keeps more people up to date
with what's happening with upcoming changes to the Xbox One as well as upcoming games for it. It helps people to find more new Xbox friends to add on their new Xbox One console who share similar interests in the games they play therefore increasing their enjoyment
of the console. There is a lot of reasons why a well structured easy to navigate forum that looks good improves the Xbox community as a whole. If the forum is disorganized and less active and less eye catching than the Playstation Forum a lot of people translate
that to mean the console will offer them the same experience.

 

^^ I disagree. The only people who come to these forums are regulars, trolls, or people who are just upset about something... post one annoying thread and never return.

That's it. The forums themselves aren't that bad, and I've even gotten used to the awful white background, but as DuFFul pointed out... why can't we see our One games yet?

 

A new forum ? what for ?.....

When you see the majority of the time that most Xbox informations are send via Facebook or Tweeter....by Microsoft.

Even games publishers doesn't use their owns forums to gives informations or just to say "Hi ! ".

It might get some changes,maybe one day.

 

I still enjoy the Xbox One discussion just to see what all the regulars are up to. This forum has become at odd sort of catch-all for upcoming games. But I don't use the Live forums much for specific game discussion, as I find a lot of people migrate to
the developer/publisher boards after release. I've been on Bungie.net a lot, but once Destiny kind of ran out of steam and I started looking toward new games, I don't get back much.

 

Of course this place need's an update but it is obvious that they just don't want people posting here and that is the reason why they don't invest anything in it. Over the years they have removed all the good features and added none. You can't even quote
somebody that says it all right there

I will say though Microsoft would not be the one to do it they would pay somebody else to do it just like Playstation does. They have Lithium run the PS forums and paid PS employees moderate it. So it costs money.

 

I can tell you are not from around here. This place used to be hoppin all the time. Game specific forums had people posting in them daily and the general discussion forum flourished. Then MS decided to give the forums a facelift. They made things harder
to find and regulars started disappearing. Another update later(i think) and we have are current forums with 20 to 30 regulars and trolls. I would be all for a facelift if I had faith they wouldn't make things worse.

 

It was a facelift that got the forums where they are today. They were so much better before that. Faster, easier to navigate, etc. It felt like a step backwards, but hey at least they're pretty and have lots of green buttons!

 

They don't make the forums. Telligent makes them. You can tell that when the forums have issues and you are redirected - your icon for site favorites witches to the blue arrows used by Telligent
